Corsair Link Problems

Hi all. I've done some digging on the forum and haven't found a thread that is similar to my problem; and I have yet to find a solution. Let me start out by saying I have a H80i mated with my i7-4770K with no problems with corsair link until now. I replaced my SSD and did a fresh install of win7 64 bit. I got the H80i and used whatever revision of CLink that was available Xmas 2013. I would get a reading of 0 across the board for every device if i got a BSOD. My work around until now was to kill all Corsair processes in windows and restart the CLink and no problem. Now I'm running CLink version 2.6.5214 (the latest on Corsair website) and am getting readings of 0 across the board. Even on a fresh reinstall (of CLink and Windows) with necessary reboots everything is read 0 and I am unable to control my h80i through the operating system or at all. I tried killing all processes and restarting the program like before, but with no avail. Attached is what I see now. If I uninstall, reboot and reinstall and reboot again, it works... briefly and then it goes back to 0 when i minimize it. The only difference between my system before the reinstall is bitdefender internet security 2014; Which leads to instability issues with Asus AI Suite 3 if the idle scan is enabled. I tried disabling the program, killing all corsair processes and restarting with no avail. Also to note, when I get CLink up and running on a reinstall it prompts to update the firmware on the H80i. To date, I am having no issues with the hardware itself, and don't think I should update the firmware on it. No offense to corsair, CLink is a bit buggy and don't want to chance bricking my cooler if it doesn't need the update. It powers up fine, and reacts normal when CLink operates. I've even tried running it as administrator.. no luck. I've cracked open my machine, checked all the wiring, unplugged and reinstalled all electrical wiring for the H80i and even tried a different USB port on the Mobo with no luck. I would revert to the old revision of CLink, however I don't have the install for it. Nor do I trust 3rd party sites for it (call me paranoid, but I just did a fresh install of windows lol). I apologize in advance for a long post. I've tried to be as detailed and descriptive as possible. Thanks for the help.
