AX1500 Link Cable

I got my AX1500i installed and all went well. One issue is I don't have enough motherboard headers for the USB Corsair link on my motherboard. All 3 of them are being used. So I am wondering if I could just use something like this and run it out the water cooling tube holes on my case to a usb port?
