I have recently purchased DDR4 3000 from G.Skill and upon 3 days of testing and consulting with G.Skill tech support, I have concluded that their DDR4 3000 requires VCCSA voltage boost to 1.25v under manual mode.
The G.Skill DDR4 3000 cannot run under adaptive mode. This means I have to have my CPU run at full speed even at its idle. Is this the same case with Corsair RAM at above 2800 or 3000mhz? You have to be on manual mode to use the high speed RAM.
G.Skill tech told me that is normal with the high performance +3000 RAM.
