My PC has been freezing several times lately, it could be Win7 or perhaps my motherboard playing up. Having Just downloaded Corsair Toolbox and upgraded the firmware to the latest version and done a secure wipe, twice actually, I am wondering if it's my Force GT 120gb.
Can I assume that even after a secure erase, several formats and reinstalling my OS several times that this information..
Total Host Reads 24.1 TB
Total Host Writes 24.7 TB
..is the total amount since I bought the drive, these stats are kept on the SSD regardless. Are they bad or are they okay as SSD's go, there are no errors listed in the Toolbox stats at all.
Also is the Secure Erase in the toolbox the same as restoring the SSD to it's original state, it completely removes everything from the drive I assume - not just covers it in ones and zeros like CCleaner.
