I've had a h80 for the past year and a half. I sat down at my computer earlier and noticed the cpu was at 80c. I tried restarting, but the cpu would overheat during boot every time.
I managed to get into the bios and saw that the cpu sits at 79-80c while idle.
I repositioned the heat sink and checked the connectors to make sure nothing had come lose, but it still overheated.
I think the pump is working, but I'm not sure how to tell. I can feel vibrations in the tubes and it makes a sort of grinding noise. Both tubes are cool, however.
Any ideas what my next step before replacing it should be? I've been searching around, but everything seems to be problems with new units, not old units suddenly not working.
