500R: Worth To RMA?

I owned my 500R for about 6 months, although I just started using it last week. Anyway, I plugged the molex cable into my power supply and plugged in the male pins from the 4 pin fan controller into the other end of the molex cable. The 2 front LED fans and the large side fan is connected. The fans work when plugged into the motherboard, but now when plugged with the fan controller. Is it worth to RMA, or am I doing something wrong? Also, if I RMA, will I get a check or will I get another case?
