When I connect my HS40, the blue light shines but a tiny bit dimmer than usual but it doesn't connect to the computer, it just plays sound on the laptop speakers. This started happening around 5 months ago, and I haven't been able to use it ever since; I just put it inside a drawer and left it there. I've never dropped it or let anything spill on it.
I'm still inside the 1-year warranty but I don't think I have the box for it.
Edit: The buttons don't work either, but the the box still lights up. I also hear a static noise when I connect it, but it goes away almost instantly.
