K70 RGB Device malfunction after opening programs

I bought my K70 RGB cherry red MX just today, and BAM! when I try to play league of legends, aura kingdom, bluestack and various other things, it malfunctions and the lights stop moving. This also happens when I press caps lock in quick succession. Would like some insight into this, or if Corsair are trying to fix this problem. Or I think I might just return this and go for the razer chroma
