Issues with M65 Vengeance software

I recently purchased an M65 Vengeance mouse (not the RGB version) and I'm having an issue with the software for it. While the Corsair gaming software suite appears to start with my OS (according to task manager in Win 7 64 bit), the tray icon seems to have a mind of its own. I'd say it doesn't start 75% of the time, but if I navigate to Program files(x86)/Corsair/M65 Mouse, I can launch it from there via the CorsTra icon. No amount of uninstalling drivers, reinstalling them, or updating firmware fixes this. Is this a bug that can be fixed by something like changing a value in the registry? I know I could just throw a shortcut to CorsTra into the startup folder but I'd rather fix the glitch if I can.
