looking for advice also.
My ax1200i was reaching ><108F and BSOD'ing win 7.
installed Corsair-Link-Installer-RC-v2_6_5214.exe and initial open worked well.
On restart of win 7, USB drivers failed.
Two days of Safe mode to enable mouse and reinstall hub drivers... back to win 7 Ui operating.
At win startup corsair link Ui starts to open, then fails(have to minimize to get rid of failed Link Ui window), but can access taskbar to see temps ect.
Task scheduler shows "Start Corsair link"
Task scheduler does not show HardwareMonitore.exe
Both "C:\Program Files (x86)\Corsair\Corsair Link\CorsairLink.exe" and
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs folders do not have a "HardwareMonitore.exe" in them.... I assume the CorsairLink.exe is supposed to create the "HardwareMonitore.exe"? At startup?
Question, is there a separate file("HardwareMonitore.exe") available and way to install so as not to have to deal with usb 3 hub driver conflicts again with a re-install-corsair link?
(note- I've got the link cable installed into a-add on USB 3 hub/ Z87( board plugins filled )
but as all info shows in task bar corsair(fans, pumps ect) I don't see a problem there.
If a reinstall is necessary, example possible MSE (no Defender or other virus protection installed)conflict I would rather have a way to set Ax1200i fan (current profile ax1200i fan speed 60% gets me down to 32C and stable) at 60% without using corsair link? Ai suite is not an option (it stinks!) as I want that failed Corsairlink Ui page to quit showing at every startup.
Thanks for any advise.
