Voyager Air firmware update fails

I have updated the firmware from 1.2.7 to 2.1.2 according to the guide on the Voyager Air website, everything worked fine, I had a blinking WiFi LED and all, but it turns out it did not work for it still shows me I have version 1.2.7

Can anyone help me?
