Corsair Utility Software Stops working when Steam starts

I got the new k70 rgb and m65 rgb this morning and I am very happy with them both.



However when I try to start steam, the utility software freezes and ultimately crashes out. No errors appear.



I would be grateful if you could expedite a fix for this.
