So, as well as my M65 glide pads wearing out and the mouse becoming unpleasant and gritty to use, the wheel has started to squeak badly.
(I haven't even used this mouse that much. The design seems to have been sacrificed function and quality for form. A plain old MS mouse seems to offer better performance and longevity!)
Is there an approved way of fixing this squeak? I.e. can I spray in some sort of ptfe or silicon spray, or does it have to be dismantled and the bearings treated directly?
