Hi there,
I have a asus z97 board and a H60 cooler.
Manual states to plug it into any fan connector and ensure it is getting full power.
currently I have it plugged into CPU-OPT Port on my motherboard . Is that an always on port? with a bit of googling I found it is tied to cpu fan speed, little vague on details on what that means. currently i have q-fan disabled, so both the fan and pump are running at fulled speeds. By enabling q-fan, does that anyway affect the CPU-OPT port voltage? I want to make sure the pump is at full speed, but i would also like to throttle the fan speed if its not needed.
Thanks in advance!
