Cannot get the M65 to work

I just got the mouse in the post today and it doesn't work at all. I have tried installing the drivers and the software however i get the error 'Cannot find the Corsair M65 mouse, plug the M65 into a USB port'



The blue lights are on thats about it. I have tried in different ports and 2 different computers.



Is the mouse dead or am I missing something
