So I have a general idea of what the problem is, which has something to do with the "hidserv" service, Human Interface Device service.
I'll press pause, stop, skip forward, backwards, and I will get the "hour glass" system busy notification on my mouse cursor. If I go into the task manager and either restart the "hidserv" service, or stop and start it, the buttons will start working. Except the problem is, it just goes right back to not working a few minutes later.
Any ideas on what I could try to remedy this?
The particular program I'm using is foobar2k. Have also tried WMP and VLC and same issue.
