Origin friends for BF4

If you're like me, then you don't play many FPSs alone. You get a group of friends together, whether they are decent or not, and have a great time playing some games. It sucks to lose, but if you're losing with a few buddies who might just be having a good time on TeamSpeak or actually trying hard, it isn't all that bad!



I have to admit, I haven't been playing this game much because of the huge flaws that were in it. (Might still be, like I said I haven't played it) However, I would like to start playing it more. I pre-ordered it and I want my money's worth dang it! :P



So, what I've done is set up a Google Docs spreadsheet so that we can all enter our times we play, favorite game mode, forums username and Origin ID. This way, we can actually get some new friends on Origin to play some BF4 with!

860i recommended over/under voltage

in my area I have lots of power and brown outs. this prompted me to purchase a Cyberpower PR1500LCD UPS even though my corsair 860i has PCF built in. Within the first month the battery backup was tripped 3 times, couple full power outs, once a brown out. my question is, should I adjust the under/over voltage limits for the UPS ( I have software that I can easily do that) thinking be less stress on the PSU and thus system, or am I over doing it and just leave it at factory settings?

Is it possible to get a 3.5mm version of the 1500 headset?

Hey there,



I've been having real issues with my 1500 headset - the same as many others, I have been trying to work with high pitch noises, white noise, ear-crippling volumes and drivers/software that exacerbate the issues and crash constantly.



I wondered if there is a 3.5mm version of this headset and if it would be possible to get these instead via an RMA?



The way these headphones interact with the OS via USB is incredibly buggy and would like to remove this issue.

400R case - does it need standoffs? Not getting video on new build

I've built two computers before, so this is my third. I put it all together, plugged it in, fans turned on, but no video to the monitor. I tried using an HDMI cable and then a DVI cable (both confirmed working on another machine), but still no video after a few minutes. It also wouldn't turn off when hitting the power button either time (one with each type of cable), I had to do a hard power off.



I figure the problem is related to one of two firsts I've had with this build:



1. Modular power supply

2. Case appears to have standoffs built-in



I guess you could also say this case has built-in fans, which I haven't been able to get working, but that's a problem I'd rather resolve after this main one.



4 copper standoffs came with the 400R. I did a lot of research online, and everything I found says "the standoffs are built-in."



So I trusted this, and built it.



Now I'm nervous those standoffs needed to be used somehow, even though the motherboard is totally level and I imagine putting the standoffs in anywhere would make it not level. Can you please confirm this case has built-in standoffs? If so, I plan to then try and do a check if the RAM is bad. Please let me know anything else I might have missed. -Main mobo connector

-CPU connector

-2 SATA connectors (one for a DVD drive, one for 2 HDDs)

-1 PCI connector (for video card)



That stray cable near the bottom of the PSU is something I thought was related to the built-in fans, but have left alone for now. This is also my first real attempt at cable management. I have a lot to learn.

Will the H100i fit my case?

Hello guys, I wanted to ask you if the Corsair H100i will fit my case:

In the chassis description it says that it fits only one 120mm but it looks like it would easily fit 2. Btw my mobo: Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN-3

Also, would an H105 be better? Thanks !

Pimp my walker

First of all, I ask for no sympathy from anyone. I just want some help as I embark on this project.



I have to be on a walker for a while. Possibly two months. And I'll probably need it again here and there for the rest of my life. All I'll say is that

Multiple Scleroris is a motherfucker. Again, not asking for sympathy. Just saying it because you might be wondering why I'm in that position.



Anyway... I have this walker and wanna pimp the shit out of it.



For starters, I wanna do an Oroboros (the snake eating its tail). I want it to be clean and crisp. Red scales with orange highlights, pale yellow belly

with white highlights, green eyes, black outlines. And that's just the start. It's this mottled surface on the front that is basically a big rectangle so I

think it will work good there. I love fucking with that classic tattoo-style of Koi/dragon scales so that's going to be going on here.



The rest of the body will be throwies and handies and whatever else strikes me... snakes... roses. I'll be getting a folding tray eventually and will piece

on both the front and back as both are visible depending on what position it's in.



The tray will be flat plastic but the entire body of the walker is aluminum.



So my first question is what I can use. I already fuck with Molotow's for my books, canvases and walls so I am comfortable with them and their price.

I don't know what's going to work on the aluminum. It's gotta resist bumps, rubbing off and scratches. Should I use some kind of primer? Dull coat

or ultra-gloss to seal it in? I have tons of sticker paper and stacks of postals. I can use those if I have to.



If you've ever painted up a spray paint can or a bottle, it's probably a lot like that. But remember, it's aluminum, not glass or steel.



I would love to post progress pix here as I go.
