K70 RGB Profiles

hi.

i just got my k70 and downloaded the software.

but there is one problem. i cant click on profiles.

i didnt even get the "default" profile.

can someone help me please?

H80i led stuck on cycle and CL unresponsive?

So recently I got an h80i and after some fiddling around with some initial problems, the unit and corsair link works fine for a while. Then about a week ago the CPU block led was stuck on its default color cycle. So I tried to change it in the corsair link software, but it did nothing, i was able to adjust the sliders just fine but nothing physically changed. so i tried updating cl to the latest version and that did nothing. One other thing i noticed is that CL no longer seems responsive to my system. all of the fan gauges and temperature gauges are all at 0.0. i haven't done a whole lot of troubleshooting on this, maybe a wire came loose or something (somehow), anyway was wondering if anyone else have had this problem and if anyone has a fix.

Does the 900D support EEB motherboards?

Workstation stnadards EEB and CEB are listed in official tech spec. On diffrents forums and webpages, some say that this case support EEB format and others that it isn't. I am building my new arch-viz workstation with dual xeon v3 and Asus mobo Z10PE-D8 WS. Any one now or try to put such a mobo in this case? What is official Corsair statement about this issue?



Additional info: EATX is vertical (33.02 cm x 30.5 cm) standard and EEB is horizontal (30.5 cm x 33.02 cm).

AF or SP cooler?

Is there much difference between the 2 fans? I have some 14cm fan placements that need filling and i'm wondering whether to get the SP fans or the AF ones? For my Rad at the top of the case i'll have to get SP, but unsure whether its worth replacing the intakes as well?

Kraken X40 Compatibility

Been a lurker for these forums for a while now, but a recent experience has got me out of the shadows and into.... the spotlight?



I noticed there were a few threads about the NZXT Kraken Compatibility with Corsair cases. Rather than dig up every thread I thought it would be simpler to make a new one.



To put it bluntly, the guide is a total fabrication. Absolutely no testing has gone into it. What i'm saying is the guide is complete guess work. This comes from the head of tech for nzxt in an email to me. I contacted them a few weeks back after finding the X40 was not fitting in rear placement for my Carbide 500R. I assumed I was doing something wrong somehow or missing a fitting somewhere. I was referred to head of tech, and he stated he had the case in front of him and it was fitting fine. I took a video, took some photos, and he then admitted he was wrong. He admitted they did not test in any of the cases bar their own as well.



I find it really insulting that a company can do this, and I feel others should know that the product isn't compatible. So many people just link to the guide and say it will fit, but quite simply, you cannot trust it.



TLDR - The Compat guide for the Krakens is an untested lie, purchase a Corsair cooler for your Corsair case so you know it will fit.

Need information about K70 RGB, Cherry MX Brown with old logo

Hi Everyone,

I have been asking around this since last week or so when Corsair announced they will continue to use the 'ship sails' logo. I want to buy the Corsair K70 RGB Cherry MX Brown with the old ship sails logo, not the one with the new gaming branded logo.



1: Will Corsair make the K70 RGB Cherry MX brown with old ship sails logo, or is it limited to Cherry MX Red only. I am asking as on the press release they didn't mention anything about the Cherry MX Brown.



2: Finally, if the above question holds true, where can I pre-order/order the K70 RGB Cherry MX Brown with the old ship sails logo, in the states?
