Corsair RM750 custom fan control?

Hi

I'm new to this forum and I got my RM750 power supply today.(LOT #1404)

I live in California east bay area. In summer, temperature gets really hot. avg room temp is around 25~30C afternoon.

So when I'm playing BF4 and try to touch the power supply, it's really hot because the fan is not spinning at all and I know there is nothing wrong with this. But it's way too hot that I can't put my hand over for more than 3 seconds.

So I was researching and found out that there is program called corsair link. In order to make my power supply to work with corsair link, I have to purchase the corsair link analog to digital bridge for my PSU.

With the corsair link, I heard that I can monitor Watts usage and temperature from the program.

But is it possible If i can make custom fan files for my power supply with corsair link? just like custom fan curve for graphic cards. I want my PSU fan to run at low RPM all the time if it's possible.

H100i Retail SP120 PWM HP buzz/chirp

I am at a loss of word at the moment. I recently RMA'd two, not one, sets of Corsair SP120 PWM HP fans (twin packs, 4 fans total). I have them connect on my H100i for push pull. The reason I RMA'd them was because both of them were making a chirping kind of sound.

Anyways, I received the new sets today, and set them up to my H100i. Im still having the same issue. In fact, its the same position that I was having problems for the first fans. Its the top left fan location on my h100i that keeps making the sound. I have a 750d case.

I have even tried to plug both in to my mobo fan headers (Asus VI Hero), and still same issue. This is already my third H100i, AND I AM NOT PAYING TO SHIP IT BACK.

It seems that it only "hums" and "chirps" when my fans are around the 1300-1400 RPM mark.

My only guess is that it isn't the fans, but the H100i. Because of the issue, Amazon had refunded me 20%, but im still at a loss of word, because I cant stop the sound. Sould I just ask Amazon to get an exchange? I RMA'd my first h100i (broken fan controller... through corsair), and the screw holes on the rad were stripping on the second one (RMA through amazon). However, because I was over the 30 days, Amazon made me reorder so I could get my third one. Now, I believe my third one is going bad. I just don't know what to do.

1500V2 Issues

Hello,

This headset has brought me a lot of frustration since buying them. Hoping that the issues would be rectified with stable drivers only to come here to find my concerns are legitimate and this product is flawed.

As my voice can only just be heard on TeamSpeak and on recorded footage these have been a massive let down as a gamer. Just To be heard I need to turn my mic recording volume up to 90% in the corsair panel but it is still not enough to register in the speech test within Windows 8.1. And while setting the mic to 100% will increase the volume very slightly it increases feedback and distortion even more thatn usual to make it un-usable. Then there is the volume. I have never had to turn the volume up over 10 for gaming or music but if I wanted to damage my hearing there is a vast amount of headroom in this department. If this was to turn my headset into speakers then corsair have done a great job.

All these reasons are not the point of my posting here today. Because of reading so many complaints that have confirmed my suspicion that something is actually very wrong with my set (and others) that I would submit a RMA as suggested by staff of this forum to customers with this issue and more. Well it has been 6 days now. I submitted a RMA request with all the required details and am still waiting. Just like being told it would be 2, that is the last straw for me and the only positive thing that can come of this is knowing what to expect from Corsair (products & support) in the future. Oh and the fact there are 60 members in my gaming community that can be enlightened to my troubles now and spare them the grief.

Thanks and regards.

Vengeance 1500 issues.

I've had this headset for about a year and a half now and its given me almost no problems, but recently it has been awful. It's pretty much starting to fall apart but that isn't the main deal. The main problem is the audio has started cutting out and the only way to fix it is to unplug and plug it back in. When it does this it will completely stop whatever is playing, on Youtube videos it will bring up the buffering icon when the video is fully buffed until I fix it. At this point I'm lucky if I make it through 5mins of audio without it doing this. Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be? I've got the latest drivers, I've tried every usb port I have but the problem still persists.

Do I need to register my Corsair Product?

I just got my system together and have a H100i cooler. I was wondering if I need to register it for my warranty if so where one the website can I find it??

Obsidian desk build

i have been modding for awhile now and just won bronze with Corsairs pc domination competition.

i have decided to say thank you to corsair and build a obsidian style desk, it might sound like im creeping, but i do think they make quailty products and if i could have my hole computer made by corsair i would.

well it has taken me along time to get it right, here is my 1st design but it wasnt suitable as like me not many people have room for large desks so it needs to be compact.

I would like to know you opinions of the desk and always like feedback so get typing and let me know what you think

What size washer or o-ring to mount H100i to Mini ITX

Hello everyone,

I need help with my third Mini ITX build. Ironically, this is the largest so far but am having issues with cooling. Details below.

The problem I have relates to the backplate used for mounting the Corsair H100i to the processor. There is quite a bit of movement. Not the kind that is side-to-side and therefore acceptable but up and down. The cooler is not making good contact with the CPU. It sticks a little but that is because of the thermal grease mostly.

I already double checked to make sure I have the plate orientation is correctly to account for the notches. I have mounted the cooler about four times now with the same results.

So the question is as follows. Does anyone know the specific washer or o-ring size that I would need to mount the H100i and minimize the movement?

On a side not, I find it frustrating that neither Corsair nor MSI are addressing this issue. In my research, I found that Asus includes washers with their Mini ITX board for this precise reason.

Mobo: MSI Z97 AC

Cooler: H100i

Case: Obsidian 250D

Link to Asus which includes information on how washers are needed for mounting some backplates.

Installation washers included*

For convenience and the widest backplate compatibility, Maximus VI Impact includes four installation washers.

* Washers required only if you encounter installation difficulties.
