Underclock Corsair Vengeance LP CML4GX3M2A1600C9

Hi,

while I am no newbie regarding building computers and overclocking, I have never used 1600 ram before now.

I have had it running in my Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 at 1600mhz but have not really seen a difference than when using 1333mhz ddr3 ram.

Is it possible to run this ram at 1333mhz with tighter timings?

CPU is an AMD FX 4300
