I bought this mouse. I had a great deal of trouble even getting it to work at all (but so too with several other mice I tried, so that's probably more an issue I was having with my PC in general.) The very first time I plugged the mouse in, it registered as "Corsair M65" (can't remember exact wording" in Device manager, but with a ! saying its drivers weren't installed.
I tried to download and install CUE (this was painful as I had no mouse input working at all), and it gets past the point where it says 2/2 Driver Installation then Copying Files, then just says "There is a problem with this Windows Installer" and it rolls back.
So anyway, after playing around for 45 minutes I get the mouse to at least work (meaning, it can control the mouse pointer and its button clicks are recognized by Windows) by removing all "Unknown devices" from Device Manager and doing a "Scan for New Hardware." This adds four "Unknown Devices", if I select them one by one and "Update Drivers" then one of those four will become a "HID-Compliant Mouse", which then works.
The LEDs are lit up, and the side button even works as intended. But I can't install CUE still and while I'm really liking the mouse I didn't buy it to be running it with generic Windows drivers where I don't have access to any of the more advanced features.
I've seen several threads that sort of are about the same problem, but none were exactly the same and none really had a resolution. I'm hoping someone h as seen this problem and can give me some advice.
