I have read many things about this. 6A over the entire unit. 1A per fan with a max of 4A? 2A being held for the LEDs?
So if this is the case WHY would there by SIX fan connectors WITH LED if you cannot fill up all 6 fans much less adding the RGB strip?
Am I off base on this, if so I apologize but this is what I have been reading. The warnings of DO NOT overload this device and yet, there are SIX fan headers!
I'm having fits with my current fan set up.. I'm liquid cooling with a total of 13 fans. I have one fan hub that was included with my Enthoo Primo case but the problem is the Asus X99 Rampage with Fan Expert doesn't recognize this hub at all and my fans attached are running full blast all the time. Even through the BIOS they still run full blast 100% of the time. I was hoping something like the Mini with Corsair Link would solve this but if i can only fit four fans on it before it gets overloaded...this is not a solution.
Thoughts? help? Suggestions?
