confused about h110i and corsair link

I have read a lot of post about the new h110i and h100i and corsair link through the usb but havent really found a clear answer.



I have the commander mini and would like to add the new h110i. Will the cooler plug into the commander mini or only into a usb slot on mb? I dont have a free usb and dont want to buy an extender when I have the commander mini (wasnt that the intent with the commander anyways??)



looking at photos its appears it does not have the corsair link slot to plug into the commander min so if it cannot plug into the commander does corsair have any plans to make a module type device to plug into the commander mini that all the new usb corsair link devices can plug into?
