So as we all know CUE has some issues on certain hardware configurations.
Many people have been asking the same questions over and over so heres a quick fix guide that will hopefully fix your issue. Or at least by pass it until Corsair can come out with an official fix.
Corsair is aware of all of the issues mentioned below.
Please make sure you have the latest Software and Firmware update!
RGB freezing caused by Keypress
If your keyboard freezes when you rapidly tap, or hold a key down, most commonly the Caps Lock, Scroll Lock, or Num Lock key, try the following
1. Use a different USB port or configuration. Remember if you are using USB 2.0 plug the one with the arrows in first followed by the one with the keyboard.
2. Grab a USB hub and plug your keyboard in to that. You will might need 2 hubs if you're on USB 2.0 depending on your motherboards USB port power output.
3. Try a different polling rate which can be adjusted using the switch in the back.
4. Go to Profiles -> Assignments, and clear the key of its function. If that resolves the issue but you still want to use the key then
Unable to Update/Uninstall CUE
If you are having trouble installing CUE because the previous CUE will not uninstall try the following
1. Reboot your computer, Exit CUE and attempt uninstall again.
2. Try running the install file for your current software version number and click repair.
3. Try using a 3rd party uninstaller to remove CUE. I personally recommend IObit Uninstaller It will perform a optional registery scan after uninstalling to remove anything that might of been left by CUE.
4. Delete the CUE files at the install location, and perform a manual registry sweep
Steam/other programs causing CUE to crash
If CUE is Crashing because of other programs most notably Steam try the following
1. Close CUE then launch Steam then relaunch CUE. -Work around-
2. Update Steam. Steam should so this automatically at launch.
3. Use a different USB port or configuration. Remember if you are using USB 2.0 plug the one with the arrows in first followed by the one with the keyboard.
4. Grab a USB hub and plug your keyboard in to that. You will might need 2 hubs if you're on USB 2.0 depending on your motherboards USB port power output.
5. Try a different polling rate which can be adjusted using the switch in the back.
For the more tech savvy users
6. Update your BIOS and Chipset Driver.
7. Try uninstalling Intel® USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver.

A. Go to Actions and make a new keystroke action.
B. Assign the action the key you want to use, in this case the key causing the issue, name the action and hit OK.
C. Go back to Profiles -> Assignments and pull up the Actions List. Find the action you just created, drag and drop it on to the key you want to apply the action to.
