Well, after running somewhat stable for the 5 or 6 days I've had it, my K95 experienced a hard crash today. The keys still worked but my profiles were kaput, frozen into my last loaded default profile with several Type Lighting keys stuck to red. Usually I just have to close the CUE software then reopen and things stabilize but this required a hard reboot of my system. Never have I had a keyboard that was this flaky. Is it the price we pay for RGB and the high USB 3.0 power requirements? Hoping this isn't going to be a regular thing but if it happens again within a few more days I may just be using Amazon's excellent RMA policies soon. Yes, I have it plugged into Intel 3.0 ports on my motherboard, and the latest firmware & CUE.
