Re-purpose triple channel memory

I have tr3x6g1333c9 3x2GB triple channel memory kit. It was part of my original build of a Core i7-920 system. Can I use this on anything else besides a Core i7 x58 motherboard? I would be interested in using this on AMD or Core i3 or i5 system, possibly not as triple channel, for a FreeNAS storage system.

I have this and another triple channel kit laying around, as I upgraded from 12GB to 24 GB in my computer.
