Hi, This is my first post here. I'm building my first system, and need help making sure my power supply is fully compatible with the rest of my parts.
The processor will be an Intel i7-4790K 4GHz.
The motherboard will be an Asus Z97-Pro.
The case will be an NZXT Phantom 410 mid-tower.
I have an XFX R7770 Video card.
At Newegg, I see power supply types of ATX, ATX12V, & ATX12V / EPS12V. What are the differences between those PSU types? Which type of PSU will fully support the motherboard & the rest of my system.
I figure on getting a mid-quality PSU between 500 & 750 watts.
Tiger Direct has a Corsair CX750M refurb for $55. Will that fully mesh with my case and MoBo? Here's a link in case you want to see it.
