commander mini

I am getting a commander mini to control fans with. I am running an ax1200i and h100i. I know I connect the psu and the h100i links to the commander. My question to you is



1. Do I install the older corsair link 2.7.5361 and all will be good or



2. Install newer version 3.1.5525 and just not update the firmware on the h100i as it turns it pink eye



3. I know I need to go into registry and do something with a usb setting to get it to show on program
