I completed this build last week over spring break and have been preparing for months beforehand. It's not super high end as I would have liked, but it gets the job done and I'm satisfied for now. I am now able to play games like Titanfall and Battlefield at maximum settings. Overall, it cost me about $900 for the whole build. It could have been cheaper, but I wanted to make sure that I used the best components possible. That's why I chose to go with Corsair for my RAM, PSU, and case.
Here are the specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4570
Mobo: Asus B85M-G
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8GB
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 ACX 2GB
PSU: Corsair Builder CX430
Case: Corsair Obsidian 350D
OS: Microsoft Windows 8.1
