Super Short 24-Pin ATX Cable for AX760

I could not find any information online or pictures so I am sharing this with all of you. I purchased some modular cables from ModyDIY for my Corsair AX760. I am happy with the quality of the cables but not so much with the fact that due to Corsair PSU pinning being all over the place, the 24-Pin cable does not look as clean as it could be (cables cross all over the place between the modular connectors and 24-Pin). I tried cleaning them up but can get them too look nice. So I placed an order for red ATX extension. These cables will be super clean and straight. No wires crossing each other.

In order to use this extension, I had to make a super short modular PSU cable. The first one I made was red but then realized that it stands out and I want it to be stealthy. I then made an all black cable and it looks better in my opinion. As a final touch, I used heatshrink to cover the cables. Sleeving the cables would have made them too hard to manipulate given the super small size. What are your thoughts?

After Researching for hours, no specific answers found about the 2100

Having had the 2100 Vengeance for about 3 weeks now.... I've had some technical difficulties at least once every week. But things have died down now and mostly revolve around 2 issues.

The first issue is my mic randomly turns off on its own when its swiveled down. I have to open up the corsair software and adjust the volume from 0 to 100 or sometimes just from 100 to whatever and then back up so it's on again. I have no idea why this is so. It turns off on its own randomly.

The second issue is I'm not sure why when I unplug the charge cord from the headset while it's own, it takes quite awhile for the sound quality to stop crackling as if something were interfering with its frequency the moment I unplugged the headset because it was done charging.

These are just two of the major major major problems I've had with this headset that is very annoying.

Another side thing is why my mic pics up the wind from my fan when my mic on but the microphone check isn't on. It picks up wind but not my own voice (just thought it was weird).

P.S: Is there supposed to be a voice modulator on the Corsair 2100 Vengeance?

Fitting a Corsair H100I into a CM 690 II Advanced case

Hey everyone!,

I'm looking to swap my current CPU cooler for the Corsair H100I and I've been reading a lot of threads and sites about if it would fit in this case and where to put it but I still have some doubts that was hoping you guys could help me with.

I have the CM 690 II Advanced Edition and I'm looking to either mount it at the top in push only or at the bottom in push/pull. For the top mounting option I'm not sure if it will fit every combination of motherboard and RAM sticks or if some would be too close to the top to fit. At a glance it seems like there's not much room there for the rad and coolers but I'll get some actual measurements once I can find my measuring tape XD.

Removing the HDD cage and mounting it at the bottom is what I'm really interested in but I'm not sure if the tube's length will be enough to go from the CPU socket all the way to the bottom while still allowing me to install 2 GTX770 VGAs. Does anyone have any info/experience on that?.

Regarding the P/P config, should it take cool air from the outside, push it through the radiator and then out into the case towards where the HDD are or pull from inside the case to outside out the bottom?.

And one last more, will any 120mm fan fit the rad or do I need to look for something specific to add 2 more to the 2 it already comes with?.

Thank you guys and sorry for the noob questions XD.

Corsair M90 Mouse can't change DPI

So I've probably had my Corsair M90 mouse for about half a year now. I've been perfectly fine using it with the stock DPI that it has which is 1200. However now I want to lower it, but i can't. I go to the "Corsair M90 mouse configuration">>> Manage Performance and then try changing to DPI 1 with 800 DPI. However there is no difference. I tried switching between DPI 1-DPI 3 and there is no noticeable difference.. I even tried changing the DPI on DPI 1 to 400 and there is still no difference. The only way I've got to change the mouse's DPI is the default "DPI UP" and "DPI DOWN" button on the mouse, but that's not the desired DPI that i want.

Is there a way to fix this? Or am i just doing something wrong..

Corsair XMS2 DHX 4GB 800MHz DDR2 CL5

Hello guys! I have a big question...

I have motherboard Gigabyte EP45-UD3P and right now i`m using a Kingston KHX6400D2LLK2/4G (dual channel kit 2x2GB). In a few days I want to buy another kit of 2x2GB dual channel kit of Corsair XMS2 DHX 4GB 800MHz DDR2 CL5. Will it work at the same voltage and latency? Thanks!

Noob Question

Hi all,

First time posting, so not sure if this is the right part of forum.

My question is about the cable connecting the PSU and GPU. The end that goes into the PSU is a "type 3", it has 8 seperate pin holes, however there are only 7 pins/wires. Is that normal?

Thanks for your time.

Another K95..LEDs dying like crazy :(

Add me to the Pile of people who paid 150 bucks for what they thought was a quality product. Im on ~month 5 of my keyboard and keys die almost every day for the past 2 weeks. Im up to 16 keys with dead LEDs.

Has there been any word from Corsair regarding the replacements? Did they fix the issue or will I be paying 30 bucks shipping every 4 months to get a replacements till the warranty runs out. I might just say screw it and buy another brand.

Has anyone done replacement LEDs themselves yet? I tried googling but found nothing. Gonna have to do something after the warranty runs out.

Air Series SP120 Radiator (4x120) screws

I see that these fans are 25mm thick. My radiators came with 30mm screws. Only other option i see is to buy other screws but can only find 35mm.

2 questions.

Will 30mm be too much to mount fans directly to the radiator, not going through the case without busting the fins? Fans---Rad---Case

Will 30mm work to mount in reverse, with the screw going through the case, fan and into rad? Case----Fans---Rad

Has M30 Scroll Problem Been Fixed?

I want another Raptor M30 but need to know if the bouncy scroll wheel issue (scrolling down will sometimes bounce up as if I scrolled up one tick) has been resolved before buying another one. The one I have now does it sometimes but it is very rare, whereas the one I had before this one (had to RMA that thing) was so bad I couldn't even use it.

If it has been resolved what is the revision number so I can make sure I get one that works correctly?

K95 rgb

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting the K95 RGB and I wanted to get peoples opinions.

One of my main concerns is the space bar. I like a space bar with a gradual slope so my thumb doesn't hit it on an edge and get sore over time. The space bar on the K95 series is looks pretty uncomfortable and I am wondering if there is there anything that can be done about that like a replacement key or possibly flipping it around if the slop is better on the other side. I just returned a Razer Black Widow because the space key was just too uncomfortable.

Also, does anyone on here use it for Star Craft 2? That's what I am mainly going to be using it for so any info about that would be welcome as well.

Need help upgrading my psu

I own an Asus G10AC series PC that came with a bad graphics card, and in order to upgrade it to the nvidia GTX 770 (Cuerently I own nvidia GT 630) I was thinking about upgrading the default dual rail 500w PSU that came with the PC to a Corsair GS700w. Will it work properly and will it have all the require connectors to replace my psu? My specs are in my profile account or in asus's G10AC series page, thank you :D

H80i noise and temperature mis-match

I installed my H80i the other day, and it seems to be working alright, aside from the noise, that is. The fans are noisy, and even when I unplug all case fans, the pump makes what I can only describe as an electrical buzzing sound.

Another problem I'm having is the temperature readings in LINK.

If I'm not mistaken, the temperature of the H80i and the CPU should be the same, right?

Corsair link Gives me CPU SPIKES

Best case for cooling?

Hi there, I recently changed my stock fans on my h80i cooler to the sp120 Quiet editions. It makes a huge difference in noise which is brilliant. However, i have noticed the top of my case is getting very hot! My question is, what is the best case for cooling? I want to change my case to one where i can fit lots more fans. Having the extra fans will hopefully stop the top getting hot, right?

If somebody could clarify that would be great.

Thank you.

K95 with Surface Pro 3?

I am getting a K95 back in RMA in a few days, and I will be without my desktop for a few weeks so am using my Surface Pro 3 as my main computer. There's only one USB port (3.0) in the machine, and so I am wondering:

1. is there is a USB hub or expander that is known to work well with the K95?

2. as I'm looking, is it necessary to get a powered USB hub?

3. should I avoid USB 3.0 hubs?

Thanks!

question regarding infamy

Sometiems I contemplate the necessary need to build up a graffiti resume within the culture, however doing so requires hard work, effort, dedication in regards to consistency within bombin.. goin out catchin tags, throws strategically so people will witness your work

but isn't it easier to just go over some older generations work, classic burners and pieces with a lot of throws and tags, to build a notorious rep.. a disregard for those who came before you surely is disrespectful, but isnt bad way to get on the frontpage? thanks

Corsair Sound 2.0.26 Memory Leak?

Anyone else having this issue on Windows 8.1?

From a fresh reboot - mem usage of the driver sits around 14MB.

After playing games, most notably BF4 - mem usage climbs with each launch/session end and stays at it's higher level until a full reboot is completed.

The other day after having my machine up for a few days, it was using almost 400MB ram on my machine.

Link version 2.7.5339 corrupt H80 Firmware

I have just updated my link software to 2.7.5339 which asked me to do a firmware update on my H80 CPU cooler. However the update to the H80 failed and now its disappeared from the link software and the fans are running at max all the time. In the firmware update menu it now says un known node (automatic recovery) but when I ask it to update again it says it failed due too many tries. Is my H80 now bricked or can this be recovered?

K70 Spacebar Stabilizer problem

I'm having an interesting problem with my Corsair Vengeance K70 keyboard. Out of the box, the spacebar seems to be fairly "loose". I do not type heavily, however when any region slightly off the middle of the key is deeply pressed with normal force, it seems the Cherry stabilizer connection underneath pulls on the opposite connection, causing the spacebar to "pop" off and/or become lopsided. I am fairly new to mechanical keyboards, and have never had something like this happen to me with rubber domes I'ves used in the past (of course). Obviously, this isn't much of an issue; I just aim my key presses for the middle. But I still feel the mechanics underneath are a tad flimsy for what I spent on this keyboard.

I've researched the problem before, and I've not come up with any real answers. All 3 insertions on the key itself look completely fine (no cracks, and with this being a new keyboard, certainly no wear), as do the Cherry "+" heads on the underlying keyboard.

At this point, I'm lost as to what I can do to keep the left and right connections staying put. Do I have any options to modify these, or is there a way I can perhaps make them more solid?

Noticeable, regular clicking sound from new AX1200i

I bought a new AX1200i from a UK retailer 3 months ago, but only got round to installing it 3 days ago. One of the main reasons I got it was for the silent mode since I've built my PC for quietness which is really important for me, as well as serious gaming power. Even running demanding and power hungry stress tests such as Furmark didn't spin up the fan either in the short time I ran them, which is fantastic.

It worked fine, an absolutely awesome PSU just like all the reviews, but today, it started making a regular clicking noise - a soft, but very noticeable "k" sound - every 20 seconds or so once the fan stopped spinning at power on. In my quiet environment it's very annoying indeed and defeats the whole purpose of buying it, so I've had to put back my HX850W v1 which has worked flawlessly since I bought it 5 years ago.

Looking at this forum and this thread from November 2012 in particular, it's not clear if this is a design issue or a manufacturing fault, possibly with the fan control circuitry. I'm also surprised to see this problem in a unit made so much later, expecting a niggly issue like this to have been ironed out. Either way, I don't want to live with this problem and feel very disappointed right now with Corsair. To be fair though, I've bought many different types of Corsair products over the years and this is the only one I've ever had a problem with. They've all been high quality, so Corsair is a top brand for me.

As a test, I tried lightening the load on it by removing the graphics card, disconnecting all the drives and booting the PC to the BIOS, but the problem remained.

I fear that if I RMA it with the retailer, I may get a replacement unit that does the same thing and they won't refund it due to the length of time since I bought it, so I would really appreciate help from the Corsair reps on here.

PC specs as in my profile.

Can't fit h100i into mini itx 250d case - motherboard blocking

Hey guys,

I'm completing my first 'from scratch' build and have run into some trouble fitting the h100i into my corsair 250d mini itx case. Unfortunately my Gigabyte z97 mini itx motherboard has a WiFi port and a bit sticking out near the pump which means I am unable to mount the h100i on the side of the case as intended. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations? Is there an alternative mounting position that could work? I tried turning it upside down so that the pump was at the front of the case, but I ran into similar issues with the included front fan.

I'm very new to all this, so I'd really appreciate any advice - about my specific issues or cooling in general! I've been looking to mount so that fans push air through radiator, into case, but are there any alternative configurations that would be preferable? I doubt any of them will solve my main issue, of course, which is fitting the damn thing!

Thanks

Corsair 2100 Replacement Battery?

I bought pair of these 10 days ago and they are a bit tight after a few hours use atm. I can put up with the buzzing microphone when charging, but would like to know if the battery can be replaced once it comes to the end of it's life?

H80i with Noctua NF-P12 fans.

Hi,

I have two Noctua NF-P12 fans and I'm planning to buy an H80i from corsair.

Do you think that Noctua fans will be a good downgrade in performance over the SP120 fans?

How many degrees could change?

I love the NF-P12 silence.

H90 pump extreme noise when at "full RPM"

Hi guys,

this is my first build using a AIO closed loop water cooler, and so far my experience has been a very positive one. Temps are very good, usually idling at 29-30 °C in a very warm room.

As instructed, the pump is plugged into a 3-pin fan connector, and all is well if the motherboard is set to automatically control the "RPMs" on the pump. For those familiar with ASUS setting, I have it set up in "Turbo" mode, for it to ramp up "RPMs" when things start warming up in games or such.

If I disable the motherboard control for this fan connector, or set it to Full Speed, the pump makes a loud grinding noise that has me worried. it works without a hitch (temperatures are very nice), but it's an unconfortable sound. Below is a video to show.

This is only audible when the fan connector is set up for full speed or has control disabled (full speed). While being controlled and "RPMs" are brought down, the pump works as intended, whisper quiet, along with all the system.

Should I be worried?

Corsair AX760i An-Aus-An-Aus-An

Guten Tag euch allen :)

Corsair Vengeance problem

Hi!

I have just bought a Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1C9 2x8 DC RAM.

After i installed them, my softwares(browser, games) have started to crash randomly. But sometimes my pc can run without any problems for 4-5 hours i don't know why. So i don't think so this problem appeared cause of the incompatibility.

I have this mobo: http://ift.tt/1CctXQn

and this processor: http://ift.tt/1CctZrF

I've already updated my bios, ran memtest86 for 2 times with 0 errors. I tried to reaseat the RAMs so many times.

I hope somebody can help me.

750D owners? Confused about how to mount HDD cage

Hey guys. I'm trying to mount one of the 750D's drive cages to underneath the optical drive bays, but I'm really stuck on how it's supposed to slide in.

I can slot the left side of the cage in, but on the other side of the cage there's a raised area that prevents it from sliding in and it just ends up hitting the frame of the case. There's probably something really simple I'm missing here, but I really can't work it out..

If necessary, I can post a few pics to better explain what I mean.
