Carbide 540 with an AX1500i PSU

Will a Carbide 540 accept an AX1500i PSU? Plus the holes on the case for the PSU is closer to the back and the fan on the AX1500i is closer to the middle of the long PSU, will this affect the efficiency of the PSU?
