I'm trying to update the firmware on my 240GB Force LS SSD. The toolbox says my current version is "S8FM07.9" but it wants to update to "S8FM07.2" which by looking at the version number appears to actually be older. Is my SSD already on the latest firmware? When I tried to apply the update it says "Firmware update failed.".

K65 RGB Trouble keeping profiles on
Every time I download a profile and use it for my Keyboard what happens is it works for a while then it like pauses in the middle of the affect like the rainbow effect just stops while its being in use and I have to unplug and replug in my keyboard to restart the wave effect.
Weird H100i Noises
Hey there, so I have an h100i in a P/P with 4 corsair SP 120's, I've had it for about 4 months now. It's cooling an i7-4770k at stock clocks/voltage. It idles around ~30, and usually with games it'll go into the high 30's and low 40's.
Anyways, usually around the high 30's I start to hear a gurgling/cracking sound, it's usually pretty faint, but you can still hear it. It's most noticeable where the hoses connect to the radiator. It isn't that loud so it hasn't bothered me too much, but just a few days ago I started hearing a new sound. Once my CPU gets into the mid 40's I hear a loud hissing/vibrating noise, and it sounds like it's coming from the pump. I checked to make sure everything was attached correctly still and didn't find any problems. But this noise has persisted the last few days. It hasn't affected my temps in any way, but it's concerning because I don't want my pump to just die on me one day if that's a possibility.
So anyways, can anyone tell me if they know what's going on? Is my pump starting to fail? Should I RMA?

Hi,
I've just sent my broken AX850 back to Corsair under warranty.
I'm not sure what I will get as replacement.
I guess it would most likely be AX860, but I've read AX860 have coil whine issues.
While the AX860i is another close alternative, I've also read it has issues such as:
-fan spins at full speed at startup
-fan clicks every 10 sec
-not all Japanese caps (ie Capxon)
Ultimately, I just want a working PSU free from annoying issues.
Any advice on which model is the "safer" choice (if given the choice)?

Transferring cooler from alienware please help
Greetings all, had a quick question for you guys...
I have an alienware Aurora desktop I purchased last year with an i7 3820 processor and liquid cooling.
I am building a new pc with many of the parts from it as my upgraded graphics cards are bigger and are heating up too much from being scrunched together on a micro-motherboard (as well as on my new motherboard I plan to do 3-way SLI as i just got another 780).
That being said, I am transferring the majority of the parts to a new case (corsair 500r) with a full-size motherboard ( MSI X79A-GD45 Plus ). What I'd like to do, if possible, is transfer the liquid cooler, as well as the cpu over to the new motherboard. I know that the CPU is compatible but has anyone done anything similar to this with their coolers? I will be using a different power supply, but I am mostly concerned with how everything is going to fit. Do you use any special brackets for the coolers, etc.? This is my 1st pc i'll be building (if you even can call it building), so I'm a bit nervous (although i'll have help).
When dealing with the liquid coolers, if you want to swap them over, is it literally just, unplug, plug back in, you're good? Someone mentioned to me having to drain and refill it first, among other things..... Is that necessary?
Do you even think their liquid cooler would be compatible? Or should I just buy one of corsairs liquid coolers because i'd have a better shot of that fitting in their case without hassle? If so, which one is the one I'd need (i'd like to use the old one just to save money, but if it really is that much of a hassle, i suppose i'd rather just get a new one than risk hurting anything...)?

K95 RGB Cant assign Ctrl + W to G15 or G18
I can't seem to assign Ctrl+W to any og the G keys.

So i thought I'll record it as a macro and assigned it to a different G key but that still didn't close a tab in firefox, but holding Ctrl down and pressing W does close the tab . Oh and I rebooted after adding it as this software is funny like that sometimes.

K70 RGB Lightning Timing Issues
Hello guys and girls!
I am currently working on a RGB lighting effect that goes in a diagonal through my keys. I set every key individually and just change colour and duration. Starting at 4 seconds and adding 0.1 as i go on to get that cool diagonal RGB line effect.
Problem: It works great for the first go but it keeps getting slower with each repetition, any tips or suggestions?

K70/CUE crashes with Tera
CUE/K70 crashes whenever I start the game TERA. I've tried doing it the other way around (start TERA first, then CUE), but to no avail -- the game crashes as well.

CLC recommendation
So I am building a i7-4790K system and am tired of air cooling. Space is not an issue as I have an obsidian 900D. I have heard good and bad things about each of the Corsair CLC but haven't been able to come to a conclusion. I would like a double width radiator so basically it has to be the 100i the 105 or the 110. I don't care about bells and whistles such as light up this or that. I am looking for extreme reliability and for it to cool extremely well without sounding like a jet engine (I am not opposed to replacing fans assuming they are not an arm and a leg). So basically I am looking for anecdotes from peoples experiences with them and their recommendations.

I am thinking of purchasing a 'Corsair Gaming M65 RGB Laser Gaming Mouse' but I have one question. It says for system requirements it requires a usb 2.0 port. My computer only has usb 3.0 ports. Are these compatible?

Corsair Gaming h2100 - Microphone static/quiet
Hi All,
I bought myself a new h2100 headset yesterday and I'm having nothing but problems with the microphone. It is extremely quiet even on full volume, i've used a booster software but whenever I get the mic to a decent audible level it has terrible static.
Reading the forums I'm not the first to report this, not impressed as is my first corsair headset and hoping someone has some advise that can save me from returning it and trying a different vendor.
Please help!

my key caps are getting a bit shiny and im wondering if i use 70%isopropyl alcohol to clean off the top of keycap. Will it damage the keycap in anyway?
K70 RGB My 'C' key went dim.
Hi. I just updated the Corsair software and with it my keyboard's firmware. I don't use the LED lighting very much, but with the update the LEDs came on and I noticed that the 'C' key is much dimmer than the other keys. I switched between multiple profiles and the dim'ness persists.
Is there a solution to fix this issue?

What made my AX860 smoke?
Hello, just registered today so this is my first post here.
Built myself a new Haswell-E rig the other day (specs are in my profile)
but for some reason the AX860 started to smoke after only 1 minute of being powered on in the new system after installing my GeForce 780ti.
It did run fine for about 30 minutes before this happened with only a small GeForce 9500GS in the case, just to set things up.
Updated motherboard bios, changed boot order for the SSD's and optical drive, setting the XMP profile to 1 for the ram and cpu was left at stock settings.
Then i turned the PC off, unplugged the power cable and installed the GTX 780ti.
Then i connected the 8-pin and 6-pin PCI-E cables to the card, plugged the power back into the PC, and turned it on,
got 1 minute into the Windows 7 install, and then i smelt smoke coming from the PC.
PC was running fine and did not hang, or reboot or act weird in any way until i unplugged the power,
except for the smoke.
Case side door was open, so it didn't take long for me to notice the smell,
and i immediately pulled the power cable out of the PSU, and started sniffing around in the case.
Smell was definitely coming from the PSU wich is at the bottom of the case,
and the smell was stronger at the back of the PSU.
Everything was correctly connected and no shorts anywhere in the case so don't see how this could happen,
especially since it was running fine for 30 minutes just before.

The PSU was also tested for about a week before all this in my older computer (before the rest of my new parts arrived) with the following specs:
Evga 780i FTW motherboard
4x2 gb of DDR2 ram
Intel Q6600 quadcore CPU
Corsair H100 watercooler
2 GeForce GTX 480's in SLi
5 regular Seagate HDDs
2 optical drives
That old computer is way more power hungry than my new Haswell-E computer so it's really weird that my new rig would cause the PSU to smoke.
Going to RMA the PSU through the store where i bought it, just wanted to know if anyone here has any idea how this could happen? as the PSU is supposed to be 100% Haswell-E ready.

Problems with vengeance 2100
I have some problems with my headset. It worked perfectly for about 5 months but now the last weeks i have started to experience som issues with the product. last night i used the headset and it worked fine but today neither the "soundscroll" or the start button works as it used to. when it works i hold down the startbutton around 2 secs then i connects to the computer but now i hold it down for like 5-10 secs before it connects and when it does i got no sound and the scroll dosen't work either. Is this some hardware issues or software.

K95 RGB Cherry MX Blue not arriving
Hey! So I've been waiting for the k95 to hit the stores here in sweden so i can go and pick one up. HOWEVER they have been delayed and delayed and delayed. When is it actually coming and WHY has it been delayed so much?
K70 RGB regional layouts
What I know:
CH-9000068-US is ANSI (slim Enter key, Z near Shift)
CH-9000068-UK is ISO (tall Enter key, \ between Z and Shift).
Where I'm at the CH-9000068-EU is a lot cheaper than the US version, and I need an ANSI keyboard. There isn't any specific info on the EU, so is it ISO or ANSI?

Corsair Link Dongle LED switches between green and red
Hello,
recently I got a AX1200i power supply. The PSU works fine but something seems to be wrong with the Corsair Link software. I get readings of 0°C and 0 Watts Power in/out most of the time. The Dongle LED is red most of the time. Occasionally the LED switches to green for a fraction of a second. I can also see readings pop up in the software when that happens. But it quickly goes back to red. I've already tried if maybe one of the cables or connectors has a problem, but I don't think so. The behaviour didn't change when I pushed the connectors.
Using Corsair Link Version 2.7.5361.
I would be thankful for any advice on how to get this working properly.

Utility Engine killing framerate
I recently decided to buy myself a k70 rgb (mx brown) keyboard.
Fantastic keyboard, love everything about it, but i have a small issue with the utility engine from Corsair.
While gaming, my fps is significantly lowered when the utility engine is running (which is all the time of course).
Though if i manually exit the engine, my fps jumps back to normal in an instant. We are talking a drop from a stable 60 fps to around 45fps, which is kind of annoying.
While this might be a software issue which can be patched in the future, i just wonder
if anyone else have had the same experience? Is there any "tips'n'tricks" to avoid this problem, or any temporarly workaround?

h80i loud whining noise.
I'm back again with another issue.
I've isolated the sound to either my mobo or h80i but am leaning towards the heatsink. It is making the exact noise as in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfKJ5_4qeok#t=0m42s
The sound happens when I play specific games or view certain images (enlarging thumbnails via firefox addon) and ceases when I stop doing those things.
This is the second issue I have had with my Corsair h80i. Had I known this would result I never would have bought the thing. I read that there are updated fans to fix this issue. Is that correct? Is RAM GUY still around to help?

[Prolem] Corsair Vengeance 2100 turn of at charging
Hi, the last month i have gotten a problem with my Corsair Vengeance 2100.
When i plug it in to charge it, it randomly happens throughout charging (Happens most in the 10 first and last minutes of charging)
I bought it april and had to get a new one as soon as i got it because of not turning on.
But when i got the second one it have never had any problems until now.
Some help would be really nice, because i'm beginning to be annoyed of turning it on repeatedly.

Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM clearance and H80i
I have an Antec P182 that I want to rebuild with a new 2011-v3 setup. My only concern is RAM height and the H80i radiator. I'm assuming LPX is the DDR4 version of LP, but will it provide enough clearance for an H80i on an MSI SLI-Plus board inside the P182? It looks to be fully encased with a heat spreader, unlike the Crucial Ballistix Sport, which seemed to be the lowest profile DDR4 I could find.. still unsure about the clearance on that, too.

K70 RGB Problems with Skype and K70.
So this started a few days ago and I thought it was nothing.
So right now, I'm having a situation where everything within the program freezes once I open Skype. I've had a few days where I don't use Skype and just had other programs on like Ventrilo/Mumble and had no problems. But whenever I open Skype, the lighting freezes and I have to unplug the USB and reconnect it again to reset it.
CUE is updated to latest, BIOS and chipset drivers also have been updated to latest.
Is this a Corsair issue or am I not factoring in something else?

RGB Profile Help Please!!
Hello All!! I am new to the forum and new to the RGB keyboard line. I recently purchase my 1st Corsair keyboard..the K95 RGB. It is set to arrive in a couple days and I was curious if anyone knew how to make a heat reactive type profile similar to the reactive profile razer offers in their program? Please bear with me because I'm not super software smart but am willing to learn. I haven't played around with the software any because I dont actually have it yet but if anyone knows something I don't, help would be greatly appreciated.

H80i no longer detected after installing Commander Mini
Im tired, beat, and finished. I am officially giving up until a new software that fixes these issues is released.
After installing the CM Mini and attaching it to my H80i everything worked for the first 48 hours. Now for the last 3 days my system no longer detects my GPU or my H80i and the fans connected to the H80i.
It can only detect the CM Mini and items directly attached to it. Before it was as simple as exiting the software and restarting it to get the H80i recognized but now all it displays are 0's for the H80i pump, temperature, fans and the LED.
Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software after reboots and still nothing. This makes me wonder if it is the CM Mini software that is causing the issue because the H80i worked 100% fine when it was plugged directly into the motherboard. Now that I removed the USB cable and plugged it into the CM Mini, it does not register.
Corsair, fix this!!! It is obvious that the hardware is having issues talking to each other and there is no fix is sight. There were talks of a 3.0 software to fix all of this since CES back in the summer. Where is it?

Replacement parts needed
Hello! A while back, I sent an email to customer service and I never got a response back. I'm sure it wasn't deliberate and I know these things happen. That being said, I'm in desperate need of a couple replacement parts.
The two bottom hinges on the front panel of my 550D broke so I can't put on my front panel.
Also, one of the 4 thumb screw tops for my H80 bracket is missing, so at the moment, my cooler is applying uneven pressure on my cpu which worries me. Temps are rising!
I figure I could buy the kits with these parts, but I feel that would be a tremendous waste considering I only need 3 small parts.
Any help would be much appreciated!

K70 RGB Portal2 Profile with Animated Portals
This profile highlights keys used in Portal for Single Player and Cooperative modes, as well as turning the PrtScn-PageDown block of keys into a companion cube. There is also a blue and orange portal with an animated lightning bolt going through them. Sorry, but Chell is a little too intricate to model on key pixels. Press F4 or anywhere along the lightning bolt to trigger the animation.

ich habe mir heute meinen neuen Computer zusammengebaut, dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass es auf der linken Seite (also die Seite mit dem Fenster) im unteren Teil, wie auf eigentlich vielen Bildern zu sehen, keine Befestigungsmöglichkeit für Lüfter gibt, sondern nur auf der rechten. Nun ist meine Frage: Wie bekomme ich es hin, das ich auch Lüfter auf der linken Seite montieren kann? Denn das entfernen der rechten Schiene, erschien mir nicht möglich.

First of all, this is my dear old rig:
-GPU: GTX280
-CPU: Intel E8600
-MB: Asus P5N-D
Yes, my computer is rather old, but I can't afford to change it right now, the situation on my country is really adverse to go about importing stuff and whatnot.
Anyway, my old PSU was a Thermaltake Thoughpower 750w, it burnt out thanks to my local power provider. I picked a Corsair CX600M to replace it and, after a 3 month wait, It finally arrived (had to import it). The unit looks really neat, but I'm having some doubts with the wiring.
For those who don't know this PSU, here is a quick description: it has two non-modular plugs, one for the mother board (24-pin), a splitable 4+4 specifically made for the CPU (its even written on one side of the plug) and the 4 slots you see in the pic bellow.
I already plugged the non-modular cables, the SATA and the peripherals, which leaves me with two free slots, the 6 square pin PCI-E port and the 4+4 pin port labeled as CPU, the problem is, the only cable left is the one on the red square (see pic bellow), a non-splitable 8-pin plug that goes into the PSU with two 6+2 on the other end. I can't plug anything to the PCI-E port.
Again, I must be missing something here, but I don't want to risk ruining anything as that would mean having to wait 3 months to get it imported and I've had enough of that already.

K70 RGB US Portal2 Profile
I just got my K70 RGB today, and after making some Adobe Photoshop and Premiere profiles with fixed color keys, I thought I'd try my hand at a animated profile. Here it is, a profile for Portal2, including a companion cube, and a lightning strike going in the blue and out the orange portal. Press F4 (or any key along the animation) to start the show.

CMSA4GX3M1A1333C9 Hauptspeicher defekt ?
Mein Notebook hat 2 Jahre super mit dem Speicherbaustein CMSA4GX3M1A1333C9 von Corsair funktioniert, lässt sich nun jedoch nicht mehr damit starten. Erst wenn ich den Baustein ausbaue funktioniert wieder alles einwandfrei und das Notebook fährt hoch. In einem zweiten Notebook mit der gleichen Speicherkonfiguration ist es genau das gleiche Problem. Das Gerät startet nicht mehr sobald der Baustein verbaut wird. Vermute einen Defekt am Speicherbaustein.
Kann ich noch irgendetwas anderes versuchen um den Speicherbaustein wieder zum Leben zu erwecken ? :confused:

K70 Question about the backslash and pipe key.
I purchased a Corsair K70 keyboard and received it the Tuesday which has just passed. I program a lot so I need the backslash key and the pipe key. However I can't seem to access them. I can see the button but when I press it this appears "#" and if I press shift then press it, this appears "~". So if anyone knows or could help me understand why I can't access the backslash or the pipe key It would be really appreciated. I am using Windows 7 if that helps and it is the UK version.

continuei tentando usar até que começou a fazer barulho de curto e hoje tentei ligar deu um estalo, subiu cheiro de queimado e queimou o fuzivel do meu filtro de linha !!!
Como é nao deu 3 meses tenho direito a troca certo?

Problem with corsair vengeance 2100 (headset can connect, but there is no audio)
Hi guys I could really use some help, I've used my 2100 for about 6 months now without problems. But today i tried using it and it didn't work. The charging light is on all the time (even when not connected) And the power light (blue light) is constantly on when the headset is connected to my pc. But the biggest problem is that it says that my headset is connected, but audio is not working and the mic is not working.
I've tried many things, for example if I try to turn off the headset nothing happens. I've tried with and without my charger in it and it makes no difference. I've tried updating my drivers (corsair headset driver and soundcard driver) and also my windows. I've also tried using the headset on my laptop but i got the same result. Nothing seems to work. Anyone know if I can do a FULL RESET of my headset? Or if there's any other thing I can do?

Corsair Flash Voyager GTR 32GB
I have this 32GB Voyager GTR.
When I plug this flash drive into an USB port, the blue light blinks, but nothing else happens. Window 7 is unable to detect this drive. Tried it in a few pc but the same results. Is this drive dead?

64GB Flash Voyager Slider only showing 57.66GB
My Flash Voyager Slider USB 3.0 64GB USB Drive is only showing 57.66GB in the Windows 8.1 Disk Management console, and 57GB in DISKPART.
I have used DISKPART to delete all partitions and re-create a maximum size partition, and then formatted NTFS, but no change.
Is this correct?

AX650 Gold demarrage aléatoire

J'ai une alimentation modulaire Corsair AX650 Gold.
Depuis quelques temps elle ne démarre pas a chaque fois quand j'appuie sur mon bouton power.
J'ai donc testé avec un trombone sur le câble d'alim, et c'est la même chose.
Je me suis rendu compte que si je débranchais le câble d'alim et que je le rebranchais "doucement", cela créait un bruit d'arc électrique et démarrait l'alim.

J'ai une alimentation modulaire Corsair AX650 Gold.
Depuis quelques temps elle ne démarre pas a chaque fois quand j'appuie sur mon bouton power.
J'ai donc testé avec un trombone sur le câble d'alim, et c'est la même chose.
Je me suis rendu compte que si je débranchais le câble d'alim et que je le rebranchais "doucement", cela créait un bruit d'arc électrique et démarrait l'alim.

8 pin ax1200i wont fit asus x99 deluxe
Hi, ive just purchase a asus x99 deluxe and a ax1200i psu, problem i have is the 8 pin lead does not physically fit the motherboard. the series of square and rounded plastic plugs on the lead are not the same as the mobo, however the psu end of the lead also fits the mobo perfectly. it appears i need a lead with identical ends. i did contact the help desk and they kindley sent out a new lead but unfortunately it was same as the two that came with the psu. the mobo socket plug shape lines up like this-rounded,square,square,rounded the next row is square,rounded,rounded,square the corsair lead thats marked cpu lines up like this-rounded,square,rounded,rounded next row is square,rounded,rounded,rounded. does any body have any clues to this dilema, ie can i buy a third party lead with identical ends? K70 Portal2 Profile
I just got my K70 RGB today, and after making some Adobe Photoshop and Premiere profiles with fixed color keys, I thought I'd try my hand at a animated profile. Here it is, a profile for Portal2, including a companion cube, and a lightning strike going in the blue and out the orange portal. Press F4 (or any key along the animation) to start the show.
K65 RGB Christmas Tree
This is my first ever profile, on the K65, and in the spirit of Christmas I made a Christmas tree. The main typing keys also flash red and blue after pressed, kinda like Christmas lights.

How to power an H55?
I'm getting ready to install an H55 into my computer. I need to provide power to both the fan and the water pump and both use the standard fan connector. My motherboard is limited in the number of headers available, so I'm stuck trying to figure out how to power the pump, radiator fan, and my case fans all at once. I have 2 4-pin headers on the motherboard (CPU and SYS Fan), 2x PWM fans, 1x PWM fan for the radiator, and the H55 pump.
I want to maintain PWM control over the radiator fans and the 2 case fans and plan on using a PWM splitter cable for the case fans.
Can I power the H55 pump from a 3-pin to 4-pin Molex connector? What voltage does the pump need? Is it 5v or 12v? If this is possible, I want to make sure I get the right adapter for the pump.

[Help] Vengeance 1500 V2 Audio Cutting Out In Games
Hi all, hope this is the right forum to post in.
Got a problem with my second pair of 1500's. My audio is cutting out in game (source games), and won't turn back on unless I use the console command "snd_restart"
My sound works for a random period of time. It doesn't matter what keys I press, what character I play as, my sound will, at any period of time, cut off. It's important to note, it cuts off after a split second of lag. It will not turn back on unless I use "snd_restart". The console repeats the string, "Couldn't get sound buffer status". After entering snd_restart, sound works, but it will cut out again. It's a never ending loop.
This is a problem with my Corsair headphones. I own a pair of ATH-m40s, and they work, audio doesn't cut out. After doing countless searches and asking multiple people I have received some suggestions that unfortunately, do not work.
I have been suggested to:
Reinstall my games
Update Corsair Vengeance Audio Software
Reinstall Corsair Vengeance Audio Software
Unplug USB cable and plug into a different port

Brand New AX860i - Defective or Incompatible ???
I'm working on a brand new build, all new components:
Motherboard = EVGA Z97 Stinger 3D (m-ITX) w/ Z97 Chipset (latest BIOS revision)
CPU = i7-4790K "Devil's Canyon"
RAM = 8GB (2x4 GB) Corsair Dominator Platinum @ 2133 MHz, CAS=8
SSD = Samsung 850 PRO - 128 GB
PSU = Corsair AX860i
This is an early "test" build so, I'm going to add a video card, water cooling, etc, later (I'm currently using onboard video).
Every time I try to power the system on, the PSU powers up the motherboard, the CPU fan spins up to full speed, then as the CPU fan begins to slow back down to idle, the PSU abruptly shuts the power completely off. After a few seconds, the PSU will then come back on and go through the same cycle of powering up for a few seconds, then shutting itself off.
I've tried the "self test" on the PSU and although the fan doesn't spin at all, the light is "green" indicating that it passed the "self test".
I can either let the system boot into the OS (Linux Mint 17) or go straight into the UEFI BIOS, the result is the same: the PSU will shut off after a few seconds then try to restart, so it's not an OS issue. I can actually remove the SSD altogether and just go straight to BIOS and get the same result.
I have an old Corsair CX500 PSU that I plugged into this motherboard with this exact setup and everything runs like a champ: normal boot straight into the OS, just like you'd expect.
I've read several threads here with people having issues with their Corsair PSU's having similar problems and the common theme seems to be the "80 Platinum" rated PSU's and H97 or Z97 chipset motherboards. Also, on the EVGA forums, there are similar reports of compatibility issues with Seasonic based PSU's, including Corsair and CoolerMaster PSU's based upon Seasonic's design.
My questions would be: are there workarounds or fixes for this issue; is this a documented "normal" feature / compatibility issue of these PSU's; or is my PSU defective?
Also, are there any "firmware" updates for the AX860i (if there even is such a thing) or settings within Corsair Link that could help?
I really like the features of the AX860i. However, it's pretty much useless in its current form. Any insights will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

K70 RGB Fading letters?
I want to ask if the k70 key letter will fade away after long use? Like those white inked keys. or will they stay visible and clear?
K70 Meka G1 Lights not turning on

I have a Meka G1 keyboard with red led blacklight that will not turn on until I turn it on myself. After a soft reboot it will turn off again and I have to go turn it on again. I see there is no firmware/driver for this keyboard?

H2100 Problems
I just returned from Best Buy with a new set of H2100 wireless headphones. I am wondering if they were like a returned set or something because there is no booklet nothing has plastic covers on it and all I have is the USB receiver and the extended thing. How do I charge these headphones? All i see is a micro USB port but there was no micro USB cable in the box.
Also I tried putting them on my head and they do not cup around the bottom of my ear. I can imagine that will cause noise canceling issues. I have seen other reviews saying that but I was hoping it was just a head shape thing. Any adjustment settings to make them cup the ear better or are these just not the headsets for me?

k70 RGB after restart nothing works
Hey guys,
I've had this problem with my keyboard for a while now that when i restart i need to uninstall the software and reinstall it and then make the profile again and then i'll be able to use the lighting effects again.
Or sometimes just replugging the keyboard works.
I'm getting really damn annoyed since it just isnt working. I dont want to have to delete and reinstall the software each time i start up my pc.
And sometimes when i quit a game the lighting effects just get stuck. I cant turn the lighting off or do anything with it anymore when it does that.
Hope you guys know a fix because i'm getting really frustrated.

K90 K90 MMO Key Repeating/Stick/Chatter
Evening, I have had my K90 for awhile now (I believe coming up on 2 years) Its been a blast and I love this keyboard more than any other of the keyboards I have owned. However, It began developing issues about a year into my ownership, went away, and have returned.
I have always had key repeating, "sticking" and chatter issues on my lesser used keys (8 9 0 on number row, - = [ ] \ ; ' ), but as of afew months ago ive been developing problems around my WASD keys and space bar. The most annoying key as of late thats been acting up has been A, frequently when chatting to other people my posts look like this: aand aalso alpha aone hahaa, etc, also key sticking like this example: good golly gosh, sometimes comes out as good ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg (and i'll have to hit G again to get it to unstick, this applies to afew keys at random at random intervals, some very long in between when typing, some very often while gaming)
It gets annoying because I type around 110wpm to 120wpm, and having to backspace to fix these key issues slows me down and aggravates me. Also having key sticking issues during FPS's (Stuck strafing one direction, stuck moving forward, etc).
I filed a ticket. However I am unsure if I would quaalify for a rma (Did it there, I wont fix them anymore) I purchased my K90 around 2 years ago from a local frys electronics here in AZ, I know I didnt do any warranty registering (I'm confident in Corsairs build quality, my TX750w psu has been running strong for 4 years now near 24/7 uptime).
Any thoughts/info/help? I have never spilled any liquids onto my keyboard, so I doubt something shorted out. I always keep my keyboard, mouse and monitor on the front seat of my car when doing LAN gigs, so I doubt impact damage.
Ive tried multiple USB ports, turning off USB legacy support, safe mode, etc, still does it. It doesnt do it with aany sort of pattern. Truely random.

Also forgot to mention my LED under my G key went out literally about 5 months after ownership.
Edit 2: I have googled into this alot, applied the latest firmware updates and drivers, but the issue persists, it is also not isolated to my computer, I tried it on my buds build, my laptop, issue persists. It also appears lots of other people are having this same issue, I want to stick with corsair and see if the RMA process cant help me, if not, this issue is enough for me to want to move to another brand for a mechanical replacement.

CSSD-F120GB3-BK Sudden death?

Found this site while looking for a solution to my problem, I have had a Corsair Force 120gb Part No. cssd-f120gb3-bk running Win 7 pro 64bit for the last 18 months today it died without any warning no blue screen etc.
So Far I have tried it on a number of different sata ports both with ahci or ide enabled it is not recognised in the bois.
I tried it on the spare computer this does not recognise it either.
I connected it externally on a usb sata connector and it is not recognised.
Does anyone here have any other suggestions on how I might get it recognised as it has data on it I would like to retreive.

Just compleyed my first ever build, not bad for a 79 year old. Pressed the on button and was surprised when it worked. Everything was OK but found there was a trap for the unwary, the 1394 front connection also fits the usb connection which would not have done the Z97 ASUS any good, Fortunately I read manuals and spotted what I had to do. Do have one problem in that I cannot get the Headphone Socket to work. The case was super to wire up, sorted out the usb3 connection so this now internal. Really good design and some really good features.

I'm putting together the following and just trying to figure out if I have enough clearances in the 750d or if I need a 900d. I found a picture of a similar layout that I've attached. The main differences are the I'm going to use a 240 rad in the front, instead of 360. And I'll 3 x 2.5" SSD, and 3 x 3.5" HDD and 3 x 5.25" bays.
These are the relevant components for spacing:
360mm Black Ice Rad (at the top)
240mm XSPC Rad (at the front)
AX 1200i power supply (at the bottom)
1 Blu-ray drive (1 x 5.25" drive bay)
Monsoon Bay Reservoir (& pump) (2 x 5.25" drive bays)
3 x 2.5" SSD
3 x 3.5" HDD
Will I be able to fit all of the above in the 750d? Or do I need to step up to a 900d.
I've looked through quite a few threads, and I know I can fit all this without using any drive bays. But it's hard to tell how much the available space is reduced by using 3 of each of the 3 types of drive bays.

K95 RGB backlighting and marco questions
I am interested in getting a K95 RGB but i am wondering just how progormable are the blacklights? for example if i am playing a RPG can i program a key to correspond to a skill cooldown? so it will turn red after i press it then turn back to blue after the cooldown ends? and when adding macros to keys can they be set to repeats while the key is hold and/or toggle on/off?

Recently purchased a Corsair K70 as my first mechanical keyboard, replacing a Razer DeathStalker. Noticed that my delete key on the NumPad doesn't have an LED. Not that an LED is dead, but upon pulling the key, its apparent that an LED was never installed underneath it.
I'm just checking to see if that's the way its supposed to be, or if this keyboard was made on a Friday evening.

Stiffness: Sleeved modular cables
Hello,
I received the Corsair sleeved cables and was wondering if there was a safe way to make them less stiff. I would assume potentially heating them up would be a solution, maybe with a blow dryer on a warm setting so it doesn't overheat the cables, but was wondering if any of you have done this or something else before I go ahead and attempt it.
I'm just trying to make them as untangled and flexible as possible.

K95 - Can Corsair make one that doesn't drop LED's after a few months?
I'm about to go through my third RMA of a K95 keyboard in the past year...
Thankfully, Corsair has agreed to pay for shipping both ways since this is becoming a bit epidemic with this keyboard...
All three K95 keyboards I've had, begin to show failed LED's after only 5 months or so; it's odd cause one will fail and then over the next few days, 3 to 5 more will fail ... almost like the first one starts a chain reaction of sorts.
I'm seriously considering not even opening this next RMA provided keyboard and just selling it and going with a Logitech mechanical...
But other than the failed LED's ... I think the K95 is perhaps the perfect keyboard. Love the design; love the keys; love the macro functions and software and love the look of the thing...
So what gives, Corsair? Why is it so difficult to source LED's that won't fail? I have fans, a computer case, fan controllers and otherwise with LED's that have lasted for over 4 years or more ...
I might give this third one a final long term shot but should I have to go through a fourth RMA, I'm switching to a different keyboard provider....

So i've overheard many cases in the early days where the plastic above the ear cup of these headsets have cracked and unfortunately mine has too since a couple days ago =(
I've cherished and babied these since the day of purchase like all my other peripherals so I cannot explain this other than something to do with the build quality.
