My ax850 went pop

Hi

I always run my new systems on my test bench prior to installing in my case. To ensure no issues with new parts purchased and saving me having to pull the rig apart again if there was.

For this build I decided to reuse my trusty Ax850

I hooked up everything bar the gpus and when I flicked the switch on the back of the psu it made a pop sound but no smoke or smell was present. It was definitely my psu that popped as I was leaning over it as it happened.

I have tried looking for a blown capacitor by peeping through the fan vent but cant really see if any have or not.

I ended up powering on the system and everything booted up as normal and was able to access the bios. Still not installed an OS yet

I did notice however when I booted it on that the fan on the psu did not spin at all. IIRC I'm sure the fan spins at first boot for a second or two.

I have not yet had the chance to run my system fully with my 2 x gpus as I need to install in my case to run with the rads etc.

But I'm not sure what I should do. It seems to work but I wonder if it is still fully functional still

Corsair what do you recommend.
