Vengeance 2000 won't turn on

I've read other posts about problems with these headsets, but none seem to quite match. My headset has just run out of warranty and will not turn on. The blue light stays on for about 4-5 seconds, then turns off and the headset will not respond to anything. I can't run the battery down to reset it with a full charge and don't really know what to do. The Amber light does nothing either, only lights up if fully charged.



It is noted that my pc lets me know it has connected, then instantly disconnects as the blue light turns off. Plugging in the cable as a wired connection makes no difference.



Any help would be appreciated.
