K65 RGB Adding functionality to the Function key

Hey, I have a friend who has the k65 and we were wondering if there was any way to add additional fn functions to other keys. Right now if you push the function key it lets you use some of the F keys to use media controls and what not but is there any way to add a similar feature to other keys on the keyboard? If anyone from corsair weighs in on this, is there any way this functionality could be added in the future. It would be awesome for the folk that do have the function key if they could press it and instantly change how several keys on the keyboard functioned on the fly, but I understand if there's a hardware limitation to this.
