AX 1200i usb dongle driver not digitally signed error
As the title states... the USB dongle is "!" under device manager and my AX 1200i is not being detected by the corsair link software windows 8.1 64-bit. It worked fine under windows 7 bit.
I've tried the registry hacks.. that got my H100i going, but...
"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"
Aside from the obvious, anyone know what might trigger this error? Any help would be appreciated.

Is there a problem with the RM850 when used with R290X graphics cards?
I am having a problem with my new Radeon R290X graphics card - basically every game I run for more than 5mins gives a black screen and the GPU fan switches to full speed until I switch off the PC. Looking on Google there are several other people having this problem and they all seem to have one thing in common - they are all running RM750 and RM850 power supplies.
Is there any reason for this or is it just a coincidence? I have sent the R290X for replacement but they found no faults.

Corsair Link regelt Lüfter nicht richtig
Hallo zusammen,
Hixda

H60 pump not working ?
Hello,
I have a H60 cooling system, and lately i have a problem with my CPU temperatur, it goes around 200f° !
Everything was working perfectly until an appartement got in fire below my appartement, I had a lot of smoke in my appartement but nothing was burned.
I clean my computer after that, everything is working perfectly except that temperature issue. I check everything in the bios, event switch pins with others that i know for sure are working but nothing.
Could it be that my pump is broken ? When I touche the tubes that are supposed to cool the water. It's very hot close to the CPU but not even warm everywhere else.
I even changer the thermal paste.
Is there a way to know for sure that my pump is broken ? should i hear something ?
Thanks a lot in advanced for your answer.

Sleeved DC Cable Kit Type 3/ 24pin
I'm wanting to buy the gen 2 individually sleeved cable kit and the 24 pin for the AX 760 but when I go to add to cart above the item amount box it says "coming soon" do you guys know what this means? Does corsair have these products in stock so I can buy them now? Or do I have to go third party? Thank you
H100i + 4770k Overheating
Firstly hello one and all. I would like to be clear in my liking for Corsair products (case, psu, cooler in this build). Also sorry for the long post. Trying to cover the bases.
First week of running my newly built system with a mild overclock of 4ghz at 1.2v (memory weak here I'm sure it was 1.146v but for the sake of argument).
Idle temps 35c and under load after gaming for 2hrs solid temps didn't go above 65c and I was a happy bunny.
After 1 week I realized I didn't require the overclock as the system wasn't straining so I dusted all my fans/filters, put everything back to standard. Noticed there was an update for Corsair Link and the firmware which I duly installed (not correctly) and instantly had issues with hardware not being recognised and idle temps now at 50c at stock speeds with 85-100c under load. Pump still reading 2334rpm (ish) no funny noises and no undue vibration. One pipe noticably warm (as you'd expect).
After reading the firmware/link software install guides (should've done that first) I went to Link Version 2.5.5145 and everything except my 780 fan was detected correctly (unplugged usb header etc). The LED started working (previously was just on white which didn't really matter to me) and cycles happily how I tell it to.
I've reseated/reapplied thermal paste 5 times now with no change to idle temps except yesterday they jumped from 50's to 70's. I've made one last attempt to re-seat and reapply tim (IC Diamond 24-Carat Thermal Compound).
Temps today at idle with power saving mode on (800mhz) are 69-72c with fans on performance mode. Had good spread on the tim every time (used pea drop, rice grain, single line (top to bottom in line with cores) cross shape and nothing makes a difference.
Yes the bracket on the back has the 2 cutouts/slots/rivet gaps at the top (where they sit correctly allowing space for the 2 corresponding points on the board).
I've been using Open Hardware Monitor to double check temps, everything matches with the Link software to within 1c variance.
Help me please. I'm at my wits end.
(ps ambient temps no more than 25c at worst with average 22c. Case temp at worst core temp of 100c was 29c).
(pps: gfx card idles at 31c and nothing above 70c under load over 2hrs use on a hot day, I have 2 corsair sp120 intake fans always on max speed with stock case exhaust fan)

Ticket 6472258 - Buzzing noise on the SP120 High Performance fans
Hello there!
Last year around december, I've upgraded my entire rig with almost all Corsair products. You guys make wonderful products and I will continue to use them. However, recently I have noticed that the SP120 High Performance PWM mounted on my radiator and on my backplate of the 800D make some sort of buzzing noise. Currently they are spinning at 750 RPM with Corsair Link, wich makes the buzzing bearable, but still annoying. Ramping it up to max speed however makes it hell.
I did some research on the net and could find indeed that this problem occurs on cases with the High Performance edition. Is there anything you guys could help me with? I'm planning on buying 1 AF 140mm for my backplate instead and two for on my h100i radiator.
Please check these links to know what I'm talking about:
at 1:40 you will hear them. Where after he disables them, the buzzing is gone.
Kind regards
Steven Serrien
This was the message I originally send to the support service. After scanning in my invoice, I was eligible for an RMA. However, like I stated in my next comment on the website. These buzzing noises on the SP120 High performance are something known on the net. I've checked several youtube links where you can hear them. Even on this forum, someone did a comparison and you could hear the difference. Not only sound by air was made. I stated that I would not want to get NEW high performance ones, becuase they would just give me the same issue.. I think this was ignored as I got a reply:
Your ticket has been approved for a replacement. Please refer to your email for further instructions and make sure to include all components that were provided with the original box. Our Warranty provides replacement for the model that you originally purchased.
If you can't afford any downtime, please contact our Customer Service at 1-http://ift.tt/1kVnzHv to set up an Express replacement. Our office hours are from 700AM PST to 500PM PST, Monday through Friday.
Does this mean there is no chance on Quiet one edition fans and I'm stuck with pulling these out of my machine and just buy quiet ones then?
Kind regards
Steven

Vengeance 1500v2 mic accessed by any program = ringing
Running windows 7, brand new headset, fresh driver install (the latest one, at the sticky on top of this forum)
So, obviously there are quite a number of other folks with this issue.
I wish i read about this before i ordered this headset, i wouldn't have ordered one if I knew.
Is there consensus on the cause, and hopefully a fix in the works?

Memory Stock
I was just curious why stock seems sooo light on memory. Every stick of Vengeance Pro is sold out on your website.

Should I just keep checking back or what are my options here. I've got a new PC build and wanted to get some 2800Mhz Memory and get the "Special Price" through Corsair but seems like nothing is in stock at all. Any tips when I should check back or should I get something else ?

Fast way to clean K90?
Hello,
What are some fast ways to clean the K90 that have worked for other owners of the k90?
I've heard that some keyboards do ok going through a dishwasher cycle but I don't want to risk a 100+ dollar keyboard that way.
Has anyone used any specific solutions or anything like that?

H110 startup delay
Hi,
Ever since I got the H110, I been plagued with this issue that when I overclock the system, the H110 will not start immediately and the speed of the two fans for the radiator increase to max speed. During this moment, I am able to go into bios and see the CPU temperature climb to about 100 degrees Celsius and freezes shortly after. However, after thirty seconds or so, the H110 starts pumping and fan speed began to normalize. Once this happens, I hit the reset button and I am able to go into Windows. This problem mostly occurs when booting up the computer after a shutdown, but the issue occasionally occurs when restarting.
Now, when I put the settings in bios back on stock, the H110 works normally again. I have tried placing the H110 on different fan headers and connected it directly to the psu and still the same result.
I have come to the conclusion that the pump is not receiving the required voltage to start up when the system is overclocked, thus, the psu may be the culprit or the H110 just does not like voltage changes to the system. The only solution I can think of now is to have an external power source for the H110 unless you believe I should rma the either the TX750V, the H110, or both. One more thing, I have also tried connecting the psu to a different ups, but the issue still persisted. One ups has simulated sine wave and the other has stepped approximation to a sine wave. I figured that may have been the problem to cause the psu to act weird, but I guess that was not the problem and not to keen on the idea of connecting my computer directly to the wall outlet to completely rule out the wave form as an issue.
PC Specs in my profile is the system that this occurs on.

Vengeance 2100 multiple headsets
Hi there,
I bought my partner a Corsair Vengeance 2100 Wireless Headset a little while ago, he loves it and I'd really like to get myself a set as well. Our set up has both our PC's in the same room, does anyone know if they will work near each other or will there be problems with the wireless signal?
Thanks in advance!

Ticket 6473036 - AX1200 warranty - No invoice
Hi,
I just opened a ticket regarding a failure of my PSU and I have been asked for the invoice of it which I don't have.
I purchased my AX1200 at 2011, this purchase was done by another person who bring stuffs from USA, he told me he bought it from amazon (or reseller maybe)
Unfortunatly, I don't have the invoice of the purchase and I don't have the contact of that person, who bought the PSU, anymore.
Since, AX1200 was released on 2010 and it has been passed only 4 years; and according to this site http://ift.tt/1kM7XE3 AX series have 7 years of warranty. My psu should be in the range of warranty, right?
Thanks in advance.

M60 Scroll Wheel Probelm
Hey, guys
So this is my first post, so hey :)
Ok, so my problem is on my M60 mouse the scroll wheel click doesn't function properly.
What I mean is that if I spin the wheel around to a certain point, you are unable to click the middle mouse button.
This problem started after I was playing BF3 and the mouse started to jitter about a bit, so, as anyone would do in frustration, I slammed the mouse on the desk and fixed one problem but made a whole new one...
I have contacted the RMA department of corsair but they need a receipt to verify warranties, a receipt which I don't have, so, I'll just have to fix it myself.
Any input would be highly appreciated,
Thanks,
Jem

Questions regarding load temperature of cpu with an H60.
Hi. Hope i could get some helps here :)
I want to know, is this consider normal for load temp with an h60?
In BIOS, the systems tell cpu temp is around 55c-57c. while using other hw monitor, it says 34-40c idle temp. is this normal?
i only use this intel burn test for now.
using open hwmonitor
using cpuid hwmonitor
about my h60
1.instead connect the pump power cable to motherboard 3pin, i connect it to my fan controller, and i put max speed, and it display 4.9k rpm. Before that, i connected it to the motherboard, and also when i checked, the speed around 4.5k++ rpm. So, i guess, the pump working correctly? is this method of supplying power to pump is good?
2.am i seating the pump correctly? the corsair logo isnt horizontal, its vertical.
So, do i need to reset and reapply thermal paste on my pump?
any opinions and replies much appreciated. Thx :)

Is the SP120 High performance edition underrated?
In its factory flow rating, I mean. This fan is a strong performer, much more than its stats show in comparison to other fans.
I've tried a number of 120mm case fans on my PC, including:
Scythe S-Flex SFF21F (1600 RPM version)
Arctic F12 (1350 rated; mine report 1500)
Aerocool Dead Silence 120 (1600 RPM)
Corsair SP120 HP (2350 RPM)
They all have similar rated flow numbers, except for the Arctic-- 63.7 CFM for the S-Flex, 74 for the Arctic, 64.8 for the Aerocool, and 62.74 for the Corsair.
I used the incredibly scientific method of rigging up a 30 gallon trash bag to test the actual flow in free air and through the fan grille on the back of my case, using a stopwatch to see how long it takes to fill it up. I repeated the tests several times to ensure I was getting reliable results.
I tested the fans in free air and through the stamped grille in the back of my case. Not surprisingly, the fill times in the tests through the grille were considerably longer. The restricted fill time was close to double the unrestricted time with each fan, give or take a second or two.
The fan with the highest flow rating of the bunch, the Arctic, tied with the Scythe for last place. The Aerocool did a little bit better, but not by much.
And then there was the Corsair. It outperformed the other fans by a huge margin, posting fill times that were just a little bit more than half of the Arctic's times. The Corsair was able to match the Arctic's free air performance while pushing through the case grille (result was ~8 seconds fill time in both cases).
It is interesting that despite the different blade designs and manufacturer's flow ratings, the most accurate predictor of the fan's performance proved to be its maximum RPM.
Naturally, the Corsair was by far the noisiest fan in the group too, given its higher RPM. It quiets down nicely when slowed to the same speed range of the others in the test. Of course, its flow drops significantly too.
I got the same results testing the fan as the sole exhaust fan in my bottom PSU case with the GPU and CPU undergoing simultaneous stress tests. The Arctic allowed the temperatures to get quite a bit warmer than the Corsair, with the Aerocool doing a little bit better than the Arctic.
I dislike PC noise, which is why I bought and tried the Arctic and Aerocool fans in the first place. Their promises of performance at or beyond that of the Corsair, but at lower noise levels, certainly piqued my interest. Alas, though, they failed to deliver.
The Corsair is the one in use in my case now (and I have another one on my CPU cooler). I like excessive temperatures even less than I like noise. I can slow the Corsair to reduce the fan noise under all but the most stressful conditions, putting the Corsair on par with the other fans in noise and performance, but I can't make the other fans flow more when I need maximum performance.
That's why the Corsair's flow rating seems low. It outperformed the other fans by a huge margin, in free air and through the grille, yet it is rated lower than any of them. Or perhaps the Corsair's rating is accurate, and the others are exaggerated.
As a final note, I know that the AF120 is the one suggested as a case fan rather than the SP120, but I thought that the high static pressure would be helpful in pushing through the restrictive stamped fan grille, which has less than 50% open area across the grille's surface. The Aerocool also features high static pressure (lower than the SP120's, but it also spins slower, so it may be the same, RPM for RPM), and the Arctic's is not published, as far as I know. I do know that Arctic fans that look just like the F120 are included with Arctic HSF combos, so perhaps it is a high static pressure fan too.

H100i not recognized after failed firmware update
Because my H100i did not work as espected, I tried to update the firmware. But the firmware update failed, to no fault of my own (!). Now Corsair Link does not recognize the H100i and I can't retry updating the firmware because Corsair Link doesn't see it... Is there an other way to update the firmware? Corsair Link shows the H100i icons (temp, led, pump, fans) in "system", but not in "options"->"devices".
ax 1500i in 900d
Can we run ax1500i together with a 240mm. rad on the back inside 900D? Ax 1500i is 225m. (2.5cm longer than 1200i)

Staubfilter 750D
Hi @ all erstmal.
Hab heute freudig mein 750D erhalten.
Mfg Duke014

Corsair sleeved cable, bad sleeve?
Hi everybody
I have this Ax1200i Corsair sleeved kit with the 24 pin sleeved cable. Bought it last Year September.
Now I have a new 900D and moved the stuff in the new case, when I was putting my sleeve kit in the 900d, I saw something strange, some cables have a kink/hitch in it and this every cm. So I looked at the ones that were still in the bag and here there were also some that have these strange kink in it, now after a good look there are 8 cables that have this, 3 I used ( 24 pin and both 4+4 pin cpu )and 5 still ( sata + 4 pci-e )new in the bag, the rest is fine.
Didn't saw that with my former build, my eye never catch that sleeve fault then, but now it did. What to do. I already did a ticket to after sales about it.

Problem controlling 3 pin fans...
So I got some corsair SP 120 3 pin and the max RPM states it's 1450RPM. When I go in fixed mode, and set it to that, the fan go max to 1326RPM. Also if I set it to 0, it won't stop, the lowest it'l go is like 1200RPM. Is there a problem with this or what?
cable length
Hello, I have a corsair ax 1200 powering my 780ti sli. This is in a coolermaster haf x case which is a large case. The supplied cables are not long enough to hide behind the motherboard so it looks like a rats nest. Im sure corsairs recommendation is to not use brand x pci-x extension cables off ebay. What are my approved corsair options?

The rest of the industry is finally catching up to what smartphone and tablet owners already knew: people want high resolution, high pixel density displays. Does a Bigger PSU Mean a Quieter PSU (AXi edition)
In our graphs, we often show higher wattage power supplies' fans turning on and spinning up to higher RPM's at higher loads than lower wattage units. Of course, an armchair engineer can come along and say "45W of heat is 45W of heat and you're going to need the same amount of airflow to evacuate that heat, therefore the fan will always spin at the same RPM at a given load, regardless of the size of the power supply." Sure, the basic math makes sense, but it's just not true.
In this blog, we take one build, and power it with two different AXi PSUs: The AX760i and the AX1200i. Using Link, we measure the temperature of the CPU, PSU and the RPM of the fan. The results may surprise a lot of you.
http://ift.tt/1trJ0yx
The AX760i and AX1200i are quite different from each other. So in a future installment of this experiment, we'll have a look at how two different RM Series power supplies vary under the same load.

Corsair AX1200i turns on and off intermittently
I had a situation some months ago when the built-in SATA drawer of my old case, an Aerocool Strike-X, literally caught fire. I was sleeping and woke up when the flames was reaching almost 20 centimeters high. Even whit the case in fire, the whole system yet was working normally, I entered the command manually to shut down the Windows before to handle with the fire. The system turned off properly.
The flames was dense and I couldn't put it down without water. Yes, I had to threw a bucket of water to put the fire down. Fortunately (if I may call this way), the case was huge, and the water just soaked the HDD aread. Mobo and other components was at the back side, far from the SATA drawer.
Well, I disassembled everything, dried each part and let all out of use for some weeks (to dry). Everything seems to be OK visually. Just one of the modules of the power supply (until then, an OCZ 1250W) was inutilized by the melted plastic at the slot.
A month later, I bought a new case and I reassembled the PC with the same parts. And the PC won't worked. The MOBO turns on, all fans and LED work like everything was alright, but none screen signal and, after a few seconds, the power supply turns off and on sucessively, entering in a cycle with no end and no signal of BIOS or screen signal.
I've done all kind of tests with no change: a stick of memory by time, other GPU, reseating CPU and watercooler. Than I tried another power supply, humble, with 500W (don't remember the specification), and the PC worked. So, you may though: problems fixed, have to buy another power supply. I though this too.
So, last week, I bought a Corsair AX1200i. I assembled the PC with this new PSU and, to my entire stupefaction, the problem persists. The power supply keeps turning on and off forever. I tried another different PSU, this time a Cougar CMX700W (from a friend), and the PC worked properly. Windows had booted and worked just exactly as it should be. But when I install again the Corsair AX1200i, nothing.
At this time I had accepted all my bad lucky and thought that the new PSU came damaged, but I had to be certain, then I tested in a friend PC and it's working perfectly for hours straight.
Unfortunately, all indicates some malfunction of my MOBO, but why it seems to work perfectly with some "weaker" PSU?
I guess this is related to some protection device of Corsair AX1200i. It's possible? If so, it's impossible to use this PSU with this MOBO anyway? Which could be the problems to trigger this kind of protection in PSU? And the golden question: what I have to do, besides praying??? =]
Please, help me!
Sorry the bad english.

HX1000W Failing, No Proof of Purchase, What do I do?
I purchased a gaming rig online about six months ago and everything has been going well until about two weeks ago... When I'm playing a game in full screen mode, my video card will suddenly lose power, light back up, and my monitor cuts off. The only way to get my monitor to turn back on, is to restart the PC.
At first, I thought it may be my GPU, so I sent it in to MSI for an RMA, but yet I'm still having the same problem. I'm not sure if it could be the 8-pin PCI-Express power cables that are faulty, or if it's the actual PSU. From all of the research I've done online, everything is pointing towards a faulty PSU..
Now, my only problem is, I don't have a proof of purchase, receipt, or an invoice from the original purchase of the PSU... I know the HX1000W cost $250, and I'd really hate to have to replace this first, as it's still under warranty for 3 more years.. If you guys could please help me with this problem, I would be much obliged.

System Building - BRONZE WINNERS
Thank you to everyone who has participated in the PC Domination Spring 2014 System Building Competition! For this competition, we received and approved 381 entries from 45 different countries! It has been a resounding success and it has been a great pleasure in reviewing the entries as they came in throughout the contest. We expected this part of the contest to be the most popular portion and was not surprised at the creativity and efforts of all our participants.
Open: 24
Custom Cooling: 41
Minor Mods: 37
Standard: 279
NEW CATEGORY
In addition to the original three (3) categories, we actually opened a forth category to make it fair for participants in the Standard competition and those who were placed in the open competiton but only had a few small mods. The new category is called “Minor Mods” and typically is comprised of systems that are standard but using things like sleeved cable extensions, painted fan rings, cutting out a side panel, etc. that are too small to be in the Open competition but would outshine systems with only stock parts were relocated into this section. This category, similar to the other categories, also will have Gold, Silver, and Bronze placements.
JUDGING
Due to the significant number of entries, I decided to first post the Bronze Winners first on this list. I would also like to take this opportunity to explain how the judging was conducted.
When judging builds, unlike the tuning portions, it is completely subjective based on the whims and preferences of the judge himself. There is no math or database to do an analysis as a comparison. Therefore, it was important for me to select a wide variety of people to judge all 381 systems in order to get a good tally of results. It was also important for me to choose people outside of the company so I could have different opinions and preferences introduced into the results judging. While most entries used a majority of Corsair parts, there would be systems that were using our competitor’s products and an equal number of external judges would help alleviate any type of strong bias towards our products. I would like to specifically thank each of our judges for the *HOURS* they had to put in to review every single entry. They were:
Internal Judges:
John B. – Corsair Founder and VP of Technical Marketing
Dustin S. – Corsair Technical Marketing Specialist and Hardware Guru
Kelvin D. – Corsair Technical Support Specialist (and the Corsair 900D H2O System Builder)
Joseph O. – Corsair Community Specialist (“Greybeard”)
External Judges:
Marc Z. - /r/GamingPC Moderator
Ryan M.- PCPartsPicker Representative
Alex S. - /r/BuildaPC Moderator
Alex K. /r/BuildaPC Moderator
The judging criteria were very simple. Each judge had to review the system and assign a score of 1-10, 10 being the highest. They were instructed to judge the submissions (depending on the category) on the merits of quality of the build, organization, coordination, neatness, and creativity. After each judge submitted their results, I would then add up the scores and total them. This means each system had the potential to score Eighty (80) points total (10 pts x 8 judges). The highest score would be the Gold Winner, and then the next three highest scores would get Silver. Bronze would then be awarded to the next group of winners and we felt there many that deserved this.
The exception to this rule was the Open Category. Due to the creativity, efforts, and inspiration of each system, we decided to award everyone no less than a Bronze. I felt this was fair as a company of enthusiasts, we want to reinforce people to personalize their systems to their fullest extent and make something truly representative of who they are or what they imagine. System building for these enthusiasts extends beyond the screwdriver and I want to reward them for the time, dedication, and creativity to create what they did. It also helps that each entry in the Open category as high if not higher than the lowest Bronze entry every other category. Every judge felt the same way with their scoring and even the last entry still had an amazing system.
Congratulations to each of the Bronze winners!

Hello all,
In Wildstar I am trying to set up the side buttons for abilities. I am doing this through the game software not Corsairs. Button 7 and 8 are working fine (though in the software they show up as button 4 and 5) and the others aren't recognising.
I set button 14 up as a macro, but this then cancels any other presses i have at that moment (Wildstar is hugely about movement, so i spend 95% of the time holding the right button). Does anyone have an idea about this problem?
I appriciate if anyone can get back to me, as this could make or break the mouse for me.
Regards,
Romark

Activating RM650 Fan
I have the Corsair RM650 for about 4 months now and I have yet to notice the rotation of the fan.
Now I have read some forums and they almost all say that the pc isn't stressed enough to power up the fan, but while gaming some of the more graphically hard games (crysis 3, Skyrim) I've noticed that my pc becomes ridiculously hot. My graphics card comes up to 76 degrees Celcius (what amd catalyst control says). I do have enough fans in my pc but still...
Isn't there a way to turn on the fan manually?

Are fan units needed on Dominator-GT memory?
Just a basic (and potentially!) very stupid question...
I've recently purchased a pack of the triple-channel CMT12GX3M3A2000C9 memory for my Asus Rampage III Extreme mobo. If, by keeping the clocks stock, can I get away with not fitting the fan unit that comes with the memory?
I've yet to fit it, but I'm pretty sure that the clearance between the memory itself and the CPU HSF pipes will be pretty tight as it is. And that's without fitting the Airflow unit on top of the three sticks of DDR3.
If it is 100% essential - then I'll look into obtaining a different cooler for the CPU - one that will allow clear space above the memory slots. I've plenty of fans in the case already and regularly keep them uncluttered from dust and other build-up. It 'should' be cool enough in there.... ;)

will adding a second pair of 2x2gb kit work?
I have asked around on a couple of other forums, but without any satisfying answers. Most tend to agree going for a 2x4gb solution is simpler and safer. Nobody seams to be able to predict what the result of adding a second kit will be. Best I have got so far is that it will work sometimes, sometimes not. I doubt this really is that random. Maybe this is best suited for customer support, but as I bought this computer second hand I am not even sure I am entitled to it.
speccs:
ASUS P8P67 Deluxe, Socket-1155
ATX, P67, DDR3, 3xPCIe(2.0)x16, CFX& SLI, SATA
6Gb/s, USB 3.0, FW, BT, EFI
Intel Core# i7 Quad Processor i7-2600K with Corsair H50 Hydro
Corsair Dominator DHX+ DDR3 1600MHz 4GB
Kit w/2x 2GB XMS3 modules, CL7-8-7-20, for Core
i3/i5/i7, 1.65V, with Connector
Corsair AX 850W PSU
Corsair Graphite 600T
radeon xfx r9 280x
and some random harddrives & original case fans, though I dont see how that could be relevant.
Basically I am not happy with 4gb ram, its just not enough. I am not happy about spending something like 140 USD for similar performance 8gb kit (yes prices are that high here in sweden). If it came to having to buy a 8gb kit I would probably go for some cheaper & lower quality ram.
Seeing as I already have a 2x2gb kit, motherboard appears to have slots for another 2x2, would it not make more sense to buy a second kit?
I would like someone who knows for sure to enlighten me as to what second kit would work. I do not wanna gamble, surely there are some guidelines for this.
If you can suggest a swedish retailer that would be nice aswell, but I can probably manage to find one on my own aswell.

VoyagerAir Passthru
What are the requirements for Passthru to function correctly?
There seems to be zero documentation on this feature. After some internet searches and reading through posts here I have found out the following:
1. Does NOT support WEP.
2. Does support WPA2 (no mention of AES or TKIP though)
3. VoyagerAir name versus WiFi SSID:
a. Can they be the same?
b. Should they be the same?
I ask all this as I have a single WiFi network with SSID = homenetwork, running WPA2 with AES. When I click on Passthru, then click on "homenetwork" and enter the correct password, I am just prompted to enter the password, over and over.
I tried setting the VoyagerAir to use the same channel as the WiFi.
I backed that out, then changed to WEP (before I found out WEP wasn't supported) on the WiFi, and tried configuring the Passthru.
I backed that out, and set a simple WPA2 AES password. That failed as well.
So what are the requirements for this feature to work? And if there are other dependencies please indicate them as well.
Running the latest firmware available as of two weeks ago.

350D Problems!
Hello everyone, I'm brand new to this forum and have recently built my first PC. I built my system about 2 weeks ago and everything went okay. I have a few problems that I found out today.
The First problem:
I was looking at other user's 350D builds and I found they had one extra SSD drive cage than me. I only had 2 SSD trays when I got this case. That isn't the worry though.
The Second problem: (important)
I was running out of space on my SSD configuration so I put my 2TB Seagate Barracuda into a drive cage. Almost instantly the system made a loud buzzing sound. After days of troubleshooting I found out it was the hard drive cage, it seemed like it was vibrating against the case. I also found one of the drive trays was slightly damaged must have been during shipping.
I just want to know how to fix these issues. I figured the Corsair Forums would be the best place to go.
Thanks in advance guys :)

H110 stock fans speeds is different
Hi to all...Today i saw that one of my stock fans of my H110 runs at higher rpm that the other...I understand this because when i have my hand close to the fan with the lower rpm,i feel the air pushing inside the radiator is lower than the other fan..Also in bios i saw 2 reading about my cpu fans rpm..Cpu fan i think 1300-1500 rpm and alternative cpu fan is around 800 rpm...My H110 is on top and the fans is under the dust filter as intake to pull fresh air inside the case through the radiator like Corsair said on instuctions...So how can i make the 2 fans of my H110 runs to the same speed?

Obsidian 800D top radiator/fans screws
Hello everybody.
There is one thing that's concerning me.
I have an Obsidian 800D case with a 360 rad with 3 frans on the top. The thing is that it makes an annoying vibration noise, and I think that the screws are crap.
There is anyone here that uses this case and has rubber screws to avoid vibrations or something?
Thanks in advance.

h100i - Lieferumfang - Schraube
Vom Augenmaß her würde ich UNC 6-32 x 30 schätzen.
Bin ich mit der Annahme korrekt?
P.S
Wird alles Intern befestigt, die weiteren 2 Lüfter werden also ebenfalls intern sein, und nicht von außen durch das Gehäuseblech mit dem Radiator verbunden.

Corsair link (latest version) not detecting h100i
Hello Everyone,
I just installed a H100i for the first time tonight.
Everything went well with the install.
I installed the Corsair link software that was in the download section of their site. Rebooted and the software did not pick up the device.
I made sure the USB 3.0 drivers for my MOBO were installed.
I moved the USB for the device to a different port on the mobo and got the same results.
I uninstalled the link software and installed the latest beta version, the h100i is still not showing up.
Anyone have an idea of what i may have done wrong?
My setup is:
Mobo: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3
CPU: Intel i7 3770k
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit
Heres what shows up in devices:

H105 fan splitter one only three pins on one connector
I just received my H 105, on the fan splitter one of the two fan connections only has three pins. It this how it is supposed to be? The connector that is wired to the mb fan connector has four pins but comming from that are only three wires leading to the second connector which of course only has three pins. Is one of the middle pins supposed to be missing?
May I please have a Vengenace K70 order status update?
Hello,
I placed an order (Order #700103179) on April 20, 2014 12:19:17 PM PDT for a Vengeance K70 keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches. I got an auto-email immediately following the placing of my order from both Corsair and Visa, which indicated to me that everything seemed to be good both at your company and with my credit card provider. At the time I placed this order, the Corsair web store indicated to allow a 2-3 week period before delivery.
After waiting without any new notifications (I have checked my email spam/junk folder regularly), on May 19th I opened a Ticket #6469520 requesting a status update. After opening that ticket, I got an auto-email that indicated that a customer service rep would look into it within 2 business days.
As of this post writing (May 28th), I have yet to receive any updates from anyone at Corsair.
This experience has left me a little shaken in Corsair. I love your products and am always happy to recommend them to others - but this experience is teaching me that buying from your web store instead of from a 3rd party reseller was potentially a mistake.
At the point, all I really am looking for is just a status update to my order. I can understand if there are supply issues that are causing additional delays - but I want them to be communicated to me, because being kept in the dark is making me nervous about doing business directly with your company.
Thank you for any help you can provide me!

K70 order status update please
Corsair, please, just email us something about the status of our orders. A few weeks ago, I ordered the K70 keyboard knowing it was on back order. On 5/16 (the projected day on which my keyboard would arrive), I got an email saying that there was a delay and I would be compensated with a free mousepad (which was very gracious of Corsair). However, it has since been two weeks and I have neither my keyboard nor an email explaining the further delay.
I don't care if you say I can't get my keyboard because they have all failed catastrophically, at this point, I just want to know what's up. Even just a quick email saying that I won't be getting it and should just purchase elsewhere.
I purchased directly from Corsair with the impression that I'd get the keyboard faster than through a middleman, like Newegg, but at this point, I would have been better off just purchasing through someone else. I want to give Corsair my business since I consider their products to be worth investing in, but this unexplained delay is not what I expect from Corsair.

NVIDIA wall mount PC for Maker Faire
This is my first post here so be kind with the n00b :p:
Wish I had a better name. First, I want to think the many guys out there who already did insane wall mount PCS. My number one inspiration was this build called the Recoil Machine: http://ift.tt/1nEaTUj
Anyways, NVIDIA wanted a custom rig for Maker Faire using components included in a New Egg package deal:
Intel i7 4770k
ASUS Z87 Sabertooth mobo
Corsair Vengance RAM 16 gigs
Corsair Force 240 gig SSD
Corsair RM1000 PSU
ASUS DirectCU2 GEFORCE GTX 780 GPU
ASUS Blu Ray Drive
EK Waterblocks for GPU and CPU, EK Radiators
Primochill water-cooling fittings, tubing, coolant, resevoir/pump housing
LEPA/Enermax fans
I proposed we do a wall mount aquarium PC like we did for the Vanilla Ice Project but time contrants would not allow that so I opted instead to do an NVIDIA-themed wall mount PC. Granted, it really was not innovative as I just took what others have done and make it green (and added current technologies and processes such as Rigid PETG tubing.
The end result turned out rather well. Primochill played a HUGE role in this project by turning my sketchup into a CNC fabbed product. I could not have pulled this off without my partner Travis Jank (V2V3). He helped me finsih it and delivered it to Maker Faire in San Mateo for NVIDIA's booth - we also worked the event for them).
Let's get started with how this happened using CAD tools:
I sent Primochill a rough drawing which they used to get formal drawings done:
Lots of back and forth on the design part.

Vengenace K70 Order Status
I've ordered a Vengeance® K70 Fully Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Anodized Black Cherry MX Brown over a month ago on 4/20/2014 and still have not received the keyboard. On 5/16, I received an email stating that the keyboard will not arrive on 5/16, and should arrive the following week, with a mm400 gaming mouse pad as compensation, but it has long past that time.
Any feedback regarding my order would be greatly appreciated, and I'm also wondering if I am still receiving that compensation.
Thank you.

Cooling Node Not Detected
Hi I have a Corsair Commander on firmware 2.0.6 attached to my cooling node (no h100 or anything connected to this except fans and temperature probes) and I cannot get the corsair software to see the cooling node, I have tried the commander in different USB Plugs on my motherboard and differnt cables and slots between the commander and the cooling node with no joy. Can anyone suggest anything to try?

PC wont detect H100i
I've had a ticket open in tech support for about 2 weeks now and never got any response.
I have a H100i it works, but the LED goes off after boot up. On top of this the right Y cable makes my fans whine and 1 cable is shorted out. On top of that my PC won't detect my H100i so I can't update my firmware. But corsair link shows temps for everything else in my computer. Even CPU temp.

and the fans I'm using are CM Jetflo Red LED
I've tried the "regedit" thing and I don't have these files that people have on the internet.
I also want to state that I've tried moving to the other Mobo header and that does not work either.
I've also tried running a micro USB to USB in all ports on the outside of my computer.

Windows 8.1
4770k i7 OC 4.2 ghz it runs about 50C on load.

Corsair 500r case with Noctua nh-u14s heatsink
Hello Everyone,
I am looking to purchase the Corsair 500r case and use the Noctua nh-u14s heatsink. Now this heatsink is a BEAST and I have received mixed reviews on this topic. Has anyone put the Noctua nh-u14s inside the corsair 500r without removing any of the stock fans and without any mods? If possible I would like to know from someone who has first hand experience with this and not just speculation (because that's what I am doing now and I think it'll fit :)
Thank you in advance for the help!

650D Case Fried Fan Controller
Hi Guys,
Wondering if anyone can help me with my case.
The fans has stopped working due to a fried fan controller.
At the moment the fans are connected to my motherboard, but I prefer to connect via the case due to better cable management.
It is less then 6 months old!
I have raised a ticket with Corsair to see if they can send me a replacement.
But what I am fearing is that they want me to ship the case back to them... or make me paid for the shipping costs.
Do you guys know if this will be the case. If it is I will view it as bad investment and go for another brand next time.

Vengeance 2100 proper charging
What is the proper way to charge and use the headset to prolong the battery life? Do I use it until charge is very low and than fully charge? Do I charge it while not using it? Do I turn it off when charging? Can I leave the charging over night or do I have to unplug it when fully charged?
tx850m no customer service response
im posting this in hopes that i will get some kind of reply, i created a support ticket for the issue with my psu, and then tried to just request an rma today but it doesnt let me it just had me create another ticket even though after over a week i have yet to hear a word from anyone, i know i cant expect real time support but come on, the email response said someone would get back to me in 2-5 days, that was on the 19th... i love corsair products and dont want this to be a bad experience, the psu is less than 4 months old and for it to go out sucks but to not get a response from anyone at corsair is disheartening to say the least. I dont want to be seen as someone who just complains to complain i just want to get something done, i have been over 2 weeks no pc, because i tried to figure out what was wrong on my own first, and failed to fix it, so please help me, my ticket number is 6469163

Corsair GS800 Problem
Has anyone experienced a meltdown of sorts with the GS800? The unit is not even six months old and we had a potential fire issue as it apparently "fried". I emailed the company from which it was purchased as it supposedly has a 3 year warranty. Unfortunately, I don't have the invoice, just the noted charge on my credit card. Can it be replaced and should I be concerned that this will happen again with the same unit?
Corsair Link 2.6.5214 und GTX 770
Guten Tag zusammen,
LG Feilei

Corsair PSU RM 750 or HX 650 Bronze?
Hi my name's Harish and i would like some advice on selecting a PSU for upgrade.
I have done some research and rounded down my option's to RM 750 AND HX 650 Bronze.
But my biggest worry is about some Heat issues rising in the RM 750 PSU's,
because i live in Chennai, INDIA and the temperatures here rise upto 42 Deg Celsius. Even though the PC is in a Air Conditioned room when starting up in the morning the ambient temperatures are very high and takes time to cool down.
Will the PSU work in these conditions. Is all the issue's in the RM 750 been resolved.
I have this doubt because my Corsair CX430M PSU recently blew the primary capacitors and had a hard time dealing with local Corsair authorized service center.
The HX 650 is good and cheaper than RM also its max operating temp is 50 deg celsius but i wanted a fully modular PSU that is why my heart is set on RM750. Moreover the HX650 available here is bronze certified not gold.
Please tell me in one word is the HX 650 BETTER or the RM 750 is better.
One more thing the current spec of my pc is moderate but i am planning to upgrade it to an i7 soon. So the PSU should be future proof too.
Future PC Spec
Core i7 4770K
MSI MPOWER Z87 Board
Saffire R9 270X
16GB 4X4 Ram
2 Hard Drives

Looking for memory for FreeNAS build.
I have an old Asus Crosshair II motherboard with a AMD Phenom II processor. I would like to use it for a FreeNas box. I've used the memory finder, but there is no designation that shows whether the memory suggested is ECC (which is what I need for the ZFS file system in FreeNas). Any suggestions, hints, etc..? Thanks for looking!

Asked for Air 540 window panel received a random full case
Hello, I asked for a new Corsair Air 540 Silver window panel because the one I had received was completely scratched up. Corsair did not respond to my ticket but today I come home to a Corsair Carbide 200 R Windowless case.
I don't know how such a big mix up happened but anyway can we please have this corrected? I've been waiting for a week now and would appreciate a fix. I also hope I won't be charged to send this entire case back to you guys.
Ticket # 6471004
Thank you.
