Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 5.25 bay question

Hello, I recently bought an Air 540, and I was wondering if I could replace the front 5.25 bay with one that holds 3.5 drives. I have a few 3.5 to 5.25 adapters, but they are failing to sit still when I try and use them. Any suggestions on known working adapters would also be acceptable as well.
