Hello, having an issue here.
I have a K70 keyboard, red edition, and my motherboard is a Z77 sabertooth. I have a 4770k i7, 16g Corsair RAM, 1TB HDD, 256GB SSD, Asus 680 GTX OC, Corsair 700 watt PSU. I currently have plugged up, USB charger for XBox 360 control, XBox 360 wireless receiver, Razer Deathadder, and my K70.
It isn't isolated to just games, sometimes I'll just be typing and it occurs. It's very brief, it locks up for a round 2 seconds, then just comes right back, the USB disconnect / reconnect noise playing each time. I thought it was a mechanical short, so I spent an hour today moving the braided wire around at the point it comes out of the back of the keyboard, I can't intentionally make it do this. It also occurs when I am sitting completely still, so it's made me think it may be a hardware issue either with a conflicting driver or perhaps total hardeware failure of the keyboard. I have only had this keyboard 6 months and I do have a warranty, I purchased it from Newegg for $120.00.
If anyone could help out, know some known issues, or suggestions, please let me know. I have already run CCleaner and tried to find hardware conflicts, but haven't come up with anything yet.
