Hi, I was unhappy with my new TX650M because it would sit and rattle the fan under light load, and turn the fan on and off every time I as much as loaded a new web page. I was expecting that the fan would stay at zero under light load, as featured for this unit.
Then I read on this forum that another user had turned the PSU fan side up and got a cooler and quieter result.
So, I can report that my TX650 is now mounted fan side up, rather than fan side down - and that it is much happier this way.
It seems to get just that little bit more natural air flow at idle, that keeps the fan from engaging.
Hope this helps someone else with similar problems!
