CMSA16GX3M2A1333C9 Macbook Pro Issues

I recently got the 16gb kit (CMSA16GX3M2A1333C9) for my early 2011 MBP 15". I am getting the three beep memory issue when using both 8gb sticks in the kit, sometimes on power on, sometimes after the computer has been in use for a little bit. I know the ram is seated properly, because if I install one stick of the new ram and one of my old ram, it works fine. Obviously I want the full 16gb and not 10gb though.



Is anyone familiar with this? Does it sound like defective ram (like a timing issue)?
