Hi all,
I bought my Corsair PSU thanks to my uncle who lives in the USA. He sent my country (Argentina) a power supply Corsair TX750 purchased from Newegg. Always worked well, or at least I think since I never had problems with reboots, blue screens and system crashes. However, I tried to check that everything was working correctly by performing the method of making a bridge between the green and any black pin with a paper clip. Turns out the PSU on (connected a fan to a molex cable), but the 140mm fan does not move. If I try without connecting a small electric fan sound is heard inside and the 140mm fan does not move. I think the voltages are correct: 3,28v / 5.01v / 11,98v (motherboard sensor).
Turning on the computer cold, the main 140mm fan does not rotate. If I make a test with a heavy run game or Prime95 and if you turn the fan FurkMark correctly. Usually when the computer is on but idle, every 20 minutes the main 140mm fan starts rotating strong enough for 2 minutes and then turns off. After 20 minutes, again it and so on. I also see that the main fan tries to turn when I move the mouse scroll on a web page, it will not if it is normal. Unfortunately I have no voltmeter to see voltages and only guided me with the programs. I also want to comment that the source acquired one year and a half ago and I do not have the roles of purchase, as my uncle purchased it in the United States. I live in Argentina and here the voltage (AC Input) is 220 to 240v.
With all this information I've given them, can you tell me if the font works correctly or not? What worries me most is the fact that the test paper clip and the fan does not turn a small electric buzz inside.
Sorry for my bad english, I use traductor. Thank you very much for your time and greetings from Argentina.
