I'm getting a new motherboard soon because my current one Asus Maximus Ranger has a memory slot problem . It doesn't boot up in the when I have ram in the first two slots at all and shuts down and when I do mem ok i get error 55 all the time.
So i bought a Gigabyte Z97X1 UD3H BLK edition. My question is that for the cpu( 4670k ) would it be best if i used my thermal remover to remove the h60 thermal paste then clean it afterwards with a thermal purifier and then apply arctic silver 5 . Then place the H60 back on or leave it be ?
