Can't hear any audio or mic

Just this year I received the Corsair H2100 Headset on Christmas... It is a great headset.. but just this morning I was playing a game and my audio randomly froze after I went to go and power down my headset.. The charging light was staying orange and now I can't hear anything out of the headset.. i need help on ways to troubleshoot this problem
