Corsair H80i Water Block

Greetings Community,



Quick question regarding my H80i water block. On the same side as where the micro usb cable connects theres a small opening see photo below.



What i would like to know is if its safe to place a temp probe that came with my motherboard inside this hole for heat monitoring or could it cause problems.
