ok so corsair we got a problem iv loved your peripherals and computer parts for a long long time now. but this is starting to get ridicules.
so lets start from the beginning i got the Vengeance 2100 head set about 5 months ago and was genuinely existed. how ever i started using them and found that there wore a couple of miner but fixable problems with the audio. one if my audios turned down to 0 I'm still hearing sound from the head set. OK what ever i just started using the mute easy fix to that. than i found that if i have anything playing sound i have to drop the volume to half or less otherwise i get horrible vibrating and distorted sounds from the drivers. OK again annoying but easy fix lower everything to half volume and don't turn windows sound up past 8.
so lets git in to the deal breakers. if the head set is receiving any grounded or ungrounded power thru the charge cable it buzzes rather aggravatingly. this isn't just for me no no this buzz is also passes on to the person on the other end of the mic now making people get angry at you for disrupting there games, immersion, raid, what ever it is its a problem a big one.
oh and lets not forget about the mic swivel to mute and unmute the mike. the mechanism that mad the nice sturdy clicking sound and made it hold in position is a joke. it now seems to be non existent with in the first week, so now if i barely tilt my head down to say write a note the mike will fall down and unmute it self. the only redeeming thing about the mic is that from what I'm told is its fairly descent sounding WHEN its not buzzing and cussing a ruckus in mumble or what ever other chat I'm using.
now lets get in to build quality this is where i start getting livid. lets start with your brand there a freaking sticker! what wore you thinking barely any humidity at all and i have pieces of logo stuck to my shirt and in my hair. ya that's a grate sine to show your costumers your a quality brand, but no it doesn't stop there.
lets talk about that little piece above the swivel of the right hand ear cup, the part that extends to let the headset adjust to the wearers head. this thing is what is probably going to stop me form coming back to corsair there are two screws above the swivel joint. and a less than half foot drop in to a soft cushioned chair broke both of the screw stops underneath the flat top of the screw clean out leaving the right ear cup to dangle and hang from its cord.
so now i have a fiveish months old head set that is just built so badly that i cant even bring my self to return it id rather not deal with the hassle of shipping and more than likely extra tax's now that i'm in Sweden. to replace something that i feel would just bring more disgust when i find its just as faulty as this garbage.
so now that I've told my story. i have to ask what happened? i mean rely iv never seen this kind of horrific quality control in my life from you guys. it seriously disappoints me.
