M65 wont click

I bought a vengeance m65 about 2 months ago. Everything worked fine until i turned my computer on this morning and i cant click anything. The mouse light turns on, and i can move the cursor, but when i click, the lights flash off for a second(power shut off?) and then it turns back on. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I can't return it.

Also could it be from a static shock because every time i touch something in my house i shock it?
