Hi everyone!
Well , I took the plunge and got a M65 a few days ago to go with my K70, and I've noticed a slight oddity relating to the mouse's tracking, and am wondering if this is an issue related to the whole laser vs optical mouse thing, or wether its an actual issue with my M65:
To exemplify the issue, see the attached picture
When making rapid movements which should be described as a curve, the mouse apperently just reports specific points, and the movement is translated into a straight line. Difference between a bodyshot and a headshot in hectic games.
This was in the desktop with the mouse at 1600 dpi, angle snapping disabled and profile saved to mouse, latest m65 fw applied.
Is this something inherent to lasermice that opticals do not have, or is it my specific mouse. Or is it me looking for an excuse why my aim is second rate with this new mouse^^
Surface used is a steelseries qck+ ( fine cloth pad ) with 3 out of 5 surface quality shown in Vengeance mouse software, and on a hardmat with surface quality shown as 4 out of 5..
When playing with this mouse I found it to feel a bit twitchy, and came across many posts in regards to optical vs laser in general, angle snapping/prediction, tracking speed etc. and am left wondering wether or not to return this M65 and go for the
optical M45 instead..
