is software necessary for fan speed AX1200i

I have an AX1200i and, as you know it is stock that the fans don't always run. I would prefer for the fans to work and can get them to dp that with the link software. However, I would prefer no to run the link software. Is there a way to have the fans run constantly without the link software installed?



I realize that Corsair thinks that is not necessary. I don't want to start a debate over that issue and am not saying they are not correct. It is simply my preference that the fans are running and I would prefer not to run the ling software for a couple of reasons. Is that possible?
