I recently purchased a Corsair M45 mouse. This is my first gaming mouse but it doesn't seem to track properly. I've narrowed it down to the surface I'm using. It will spaz out whenever I use a surface that isn't uniform in texture and color. The old Microsoft mouse I was using from six years ago tracks on more surfaces and feels smoother. They are both optical mice. It can also track on surfaces like the material most brochures are made of. The M45 would spaz out as soon as it is placed there. Certain sections on my mouse pad where there are graphics also don't provide reliable tracking although other sections do. Are gaming sensors supposed to be picky or do I just have a defective mouse?
