I purchased this headset roughly 3 months ago and the audio keeps cutting out when playing games, sometimes a good 10 seconds before it comes back. Very aggravating. Here is what I tried/tested:
- Tried multiple headset driver versions
- Tried multiple USB ports (Own a Asus Maximus Gene Z IV MB)
- Tried plugging the bluetooth connector directly in my USB port on the PC instead of using the cradle
- Moved the cradle around to check for interference
- Turned off Legacy UBS support in BIOS
- Updated all chipset drivers for my MB
- I am not seeing the blue light go out on the receiver when the audio drops.
- Went back to my Logitech G500 and no audio drops occurred
The drop-out happens in a lot of games, in particular Diablo 3.
I honestly don't know what more to do. I cannot return it to Fry's as it's beyond 30 days. What would I need to do to RMA this? Do you even think a new headset would be much better? I see others with audio drop-out issues.
Help!
